Nice hotel. Room is clean, bathroom is great, full size refrigerator in the kitchenette area, large microwave built into the vent over flat surface electric burners. Carpet still looks new. No bad smells, quiet neighbors, security guard that patrols the parking lot, great lighting in the parking area, ADA accessible hotel with good elevators, luggage carts, and a courtesy van. For the price it is a great deal. Recommend this establishment.
This is by far the worst hotel we ever stayed. We (family with kids) usually stay in mid segment hotels. All we need is cleanliness and basic services, nothing fancy. I got fooled by their prices ($300+) and assumed this is a decent hotel.
1. We landed past midnight and there was no one in the reception. After a long wait, security showed up and pulled out a room.
2. The room given to us to not clean, smelled of pets and urine and damp. After going back and forth for 2 hours with the security, I was told ‘take this room or find another place to stay’. Long story short, we had to take the room as it was too late to find another place at 4 AM.
3. The hotel is full of junkies and drunks. Not the sort of place any decent person would want to take his family to. The location of the hotel is also quite rundown and looked unsafe.
The manager gave us another room for the second and our last night in that hotel. This room was way better than the first one but still nowhere decent (damp smell & not super clean).
This experience will remain my biggest regret in an otherwise spectacular vacation in Alaska
Upon arrival there was a man lurking around the parking lot and door to the “lobby”. After we checked in we went to our room. The hotel looked clean on the outside and while walking down the hallway. Once we got into our room it smelled musty and like smoke. We travel often and always check bedding. As soon as I pulled back the bedding there were so many bed bugs. We walked straight out. The lady at the desk told me there was no manager there and that she wouldn’t be back until the next morning. I called the next morning and waited on hold for the manager for about 5-10 minutes only to be told she was away from her office and would call me back in 20 minutes. I did not receive a call back. I cannot believe this hotel has the google rating it does. This place is absolutely disgusting and the manager is unprofessional.
Infested with BED BUGS! I woke up the next morning covered with raised welts itching like mad all over. The bed bug bites are still itching six days later. It's pure misery. If you've never had them before, staying here will give you a good chance to bask in itching misery. Imagine your child getting chewed on by these raging insects. They claimed the manager wasn't there when we checked out and they said they would call when they got in but they never called back even after calling them multiple times. They didn't compensate in any way. I'm posting photos of a few of the bites. This is your warning to steer clear of this scamming hotel.
I have been to this hotel a few times over the last couple of years for medical reasons and I have to say I am so blessed and lucky to have Miss. Keke at the front!! She has helped me on numerous occasions and always comes through with a beautiful personality and great customer service!! I will definitely keep coming back to this hotel just because of all the friendly and respectful staff and fast courtesy! I feel so welcomed and it brings me peace of mind when a room is the last thing a person should be stressing about! Thank you Miss Keke and everyone hard at work!! You're the best!
There was no concierge at the hotel at night , they have a security guard to check you in. But he doesn’t have access to the system and hotel keeps a printed list of the guests. We reached there at 2 am and the security guard said our name wasn’t in the list . This was unexpected. The Guard however was helpful and managed to arrange the room. But for hotel, this was highly unreliable
We checked in early and was welcomed with great customer service. Clean and tidy hotel. Easy check in and front desk receptionist Keke was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near a few fast food places and in a good location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Has all the amenities you need.
This hotel is perfect if you just want a nice place to sleep. Rooms are spacious, kitchen inside the room but we didn’t need. Rooms are also clean and the hotel is pretty quiet. The downside is there’s no pool or even a gym. Thankfully it was next door to a jump place so we could take our kids on a rainy day. Would stay again or recommend if you don’t need all the extras
