I had the mexican skillet. It came out cold and the eggs were not scrambled. The waitress was extremely nice, she said I will have them redo it. I asked her to make sure the eggs were scrambled, the food was heat hot and the green chili was on the side. While I was waiting she brought me a pumpkin muffin which was very tasty. The meal came out the second time smothered. She said no charge. If it was not for the waitress this review would have been a lot worth. She has saved the day, she deserves a raise.

My experience today fell short. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak and I have to say the gravy had the most distracting taste and huge pepper chucks. So much so, that we couldn't eat that part of our meals. We didn't have them take it back only because it was our first time ordering those. We also got burnt toast, literally. We did send that back because it was uneatable, I mean black on the edges. But the bacon was amazing. The service was good except that we were first before 2 other tables and she took their order first. I also don't like that we couldn't type in our tip to the machine. The waitress asked how much tip we wanted to leave. So I asked what the food total was and she told me the total of the ticket. So I asked again what was the food total without tax and she looked at me as if she was offended. I'm sorry, but tip etiquette is to tip on the food total only. Not the total bill. You're not supposed to tip on taxes. Most people don't realize that.
A diner that I can count on - I asked for crisp, dry bacon and actually got crisp, dry bacon - a rare experience for me in Denver’s diners. PLUS, Vicky gave us highly attentive service, kept our coffee hot, and let me know the blueberry pancakes have blueberries in the batter (delicious).
Everything is good, homestyle diner!

The wait staff are efficient. The kitchen is quick. And the portions are: you'll need a nap after your meal level.
Be warned, it's always busy, will most likely be a short wait.
Sat down quickly and our server was very sweet. She forgot to put our food in but quickly fixed it. Our food came out and it was cold like very cold and bland. The only thing that had flavor was the sausage and gravy biscuits. I really think everything could have been better. I think with the variety of foods we had more than ome thing should have been good.
This place is amazing for food quality, service, and ambience. It’s basically an upscale diner with excellent food and a folksy clientele. I have never had a better steak and eggs special for breakfast at such a reasonable price, and the hash browns were delicious without being too salty. Unlimited hot coffee refills topped off a superior experience. Thank you!
If you can find a parking space, hit’s totally with the wait! Sign your name on the list. The movement for tables happen pretty quick. Lots of locals love this place and the staff remembers many of the faces. Small town vibe in a big city.
We had the cheeseburger and it was good. Great value for the amount of food!
