The lady at the desk was the most helpful ever! Assisted in upgrading our room and made it downstairs to make easier access without us even asking. Have so many tips on where to go and what to do in the area, as well as discounts for many places. She was spot on with what she shared, sunset boat cruise, private beach, free entertainment and places to eat... staff nice, room clean, very nice to work with, would stay again for sure... was like having a travel agent at the front desk... amazing
The owner handled our check in. She was very helpful, nice, and accommodating. She volunteered perks without us even asking. The room was nice. Rocking chair in room which is rare when traveling, was a nice benefit for me. Suite was large and week kept. Our room had a nice sized quiet deck. Have stayed there in the past and would stay there again.
We had 2 rooms .. both smelled very musty and like they were trying to get rid of years of smokers , when we went in and one during the night started smelling strongly of septic backup . It was quite unpleasant. The rooms were clean but very dated. As were the bathrooms. Good towels and small bar soap and tiny shampoo. No one at the desk both on arrival and departure. Probably would not stay there again.
I have stayed at this resort at least 4 or 5 times and I would never consider staying anywhere else. The staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating! The rooms are clean. The check-in and check-out are quick and the location is perfect for downtown Fish Creek or any of the other close-by cities you'll want to visit. It's just like home away from home, honestly!!
My husband and I stayed at Apple Creek Resert on June 21 and 22, 2024. We had an excellent experience! We checked in with the owner, Lynne, who was very friendly and helpful with regard to surrounding activities, etc. She gave us a sheet of paper with various discounts at nearby shops and restaurants. Our room was very nice! It had two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a table with chairs, a refrigerator and microwave and a balcony overlooking a lovely backyard area. The room was very spacious and clean! The bathroom was a nice size and soaps and shampoo, etc was provided. I thought that the cost of the room was an excellent value. There was also a very nice indoor pool but we didn't have time to take advantage of it. I highly recommend AppleCreek Resort! We'll definitely being staying there again.
My wife and I made a spotaneous, same-day trip up to Door County. Needless to say finding a room in July was almost impossible. Apple Creek had their small room available last-minute for an amazing rate. |It was a small room with one Queen Bed so perfect for us to rest and continue exploring the next day.|It was very clean and nice, and simply appointed. And the kind woman who manages it was a wonderful host.
When you book online you never know what you’re really getting. The room was really clean! Beds were comfy! Owner was onsite the morning we checked out and was so hospitable. Very kind and gave us tips on what to do and where to go. Thanks for a great stay! We will be back!
We stayed there as a last minute one night trip and we wish we were able to stay longer. Our room was nice and big with a Jacuzzi tub. The pool looked great, but we didn't get a chance to enjoy. It was raining while we were there but it took a break long enough for us to enjoy a few cocktails on our balcony. |We come to Door County several times a year and we will look forward to returning for a longer visit.
