Best WLM Reviews
I travel a lot so I don't always have time to visit this Applebee's. I like how this one has more elbow room around the bar ????. There are multiple flat screens showing different games.
Service was good! My bartender /server, a young woman whose name starts with M was friendly and helpful. I don't want to mention her name ???? in case she ends up with unwanted "friends" on her social media accounts. Can you imagine (dragons) Rachel or Ross pestering you about everything?!
Anywho, I have tried the Honey ???? BBQ and Sweet Asian Chili ????️ boneless wings. 50¢, how can you go wrong when they taste good. The Fiesta Lime Chicken was also good, for franchise food.
I have ordered through the app for car side to go. The transaction and delivery went well.
Free ???? refill on my iced tea.
The carpeted floor felt good to my tired feet. The bathroom was in good condition.
Update: November 2024; Grilled Chicken ???? Sandwich was good ????.
I am recommending this Applebee's.
Went for the all you can eat boneless wings. Walking in I was greeted by the hostess and seated in a booth. Waiter promptly brought over a menu and offered a drink. Realizing I seemed ready to order he asked if I was ready. So I placed the order all can eat wings. First round was garlic parm wings( in picture) I scrapped off the excessive blobs of "sauce" and they were ok. Then on second round and consecutive rounds I ordered the honey bbq wings. Now the sauce seemed fine, But out of the 30 boneless wings I ate there wasn't a single warm one. They were all room temp at best. The fries were the same except on the second plate they were hot and delicious. The rest matched the wing temp. The waiter was very good at getting my refills placed in a timely manner so when I finished my plate my next one was almost to the table. Absolute great service from him. The bright spot which I'm not typically a cole slaw fan... but I tried it so I could review it because it looked really good. The Cole slaw was the best part of the whole feast. I am shocked I just said that. So the waiter was the great part of this visit. But the food reminded me why I don't visit Applebee's except once in a blue moon.
For what we were looking for today, this was perfect. A meal on the lighter side, not fancy, but a great time. We had excellent service, a beautiful lady (forgot her name). She did a fantastic job serving all 22 of us.
Waitress was very nice, but I felt like we were being rushed out by her asking every 5 minutes if we were ready to order. We came 2 hours before a movie & wanted to just relax & enjoy. For food, the taste was good, but not warm at all, except for the fries. I asked for medium burger & it was well done. Onion rings were stone cold. Daughters hot dog from her corn dog didn't even taste like it had been cooked at all.
Me and my girls wanted a fun night out at Applebees and oh boy did we get that. Cooper P was an outstanding server who not only had a very positive attitude but also was very timely and helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed with a radiant smile on his face! Thank you so much Cooper + Applebee’s. GET THE PRETZELS! Give this man a raise!!!
Two friends and I met at Applebees in Portsmouth for dinner on Saturday night at around 6:15. The waiting area was full but there were more empty tables than occupied. One large group of people left after waiting for quite a while. We decided to be patient and were eventually seated with menus. That is the last we saw of anyone. In the time we sat there being ignored, people who came in after us were waited on. After about 20 minutes we decided to leave and try someplace else. We got a “have a nice day” from the hostess as we walked out. We ended up at another place nearby and were treated very well.
I do love me some 'Bees! Honestly though, I never used to like the Bees. I've had bad experiences before but this one changed all that.
Everything was very fresh and the manager was walking around talking to everyone and running food. The bartender was friendly and I wasn't going to drink but he was so damn friendly that I felt like I should...so I did. I also continued to drink the rest of the night, don't judge, nobody likes a judgy person.
So yeah, awesome 'Bees, better than all the others.
I should probably talk about the food since this is a review. Pretzel Bites with Cheese dipping = amazing and buffalo chicken wings were good too. The wife got a Pina Colada which was great, check the pics.
Service was meh, some food was cold ( and mozz sticks appetizers) and kids corndogs were burnt. Server was slow and kept forgetting to bring is things like spoons ans refills. He also shook his head when we were leaving like ?? okay bruh
