The food was hot and fresh. The wait staff were pleasant and prompt. We were a party of 8 due to a graduation (HS), and they handled it very well. The appetizers were the Parmesan chicken wings and Mazarella sticks; both were hot and good. The bourbon chicken and shrimp w/mash was tender; the crispy chicken sandwich was pretty large, and the fries were crispy. There were no complaints, and the waitress was on point! She earned her 25%!
The food was pretty good but what really made our experience 5 was the service. We had Maddie once again, actually requested heer section. She was great, gave good recs ans was very patient with us. She checked on us often and just overall was a great waitress.
I hadn't been to an Applebee's in years, but I saw the Lions coach, Dan Campbell, commercial, and it made me want to try the .50 wings. I took my girlfriend and our son. Finn had a kids meal, and my girlfriend and I each had 6 boneless wings, and we shared an order of fries. We were going to a movie after, so we kept it sort of light. Our bill was $18.01 for three people! $22.01 w tip! I was amazed and beyond pleased. Also, I was surprised at how comfortable the place was. The decor was impressive, with local schools being shouted out. The booth we were in was big and comfy. Our son saw his lunch lady having dinner there, and they chatted at her table. Applebee's is doing good. I'm pleased that there is a decent place that working-class folks can go out to, have a nice meal, and not break the bank! Thanks, Applebee's! ???? We'll be back!
I went here on Halloween to celebrate a 20 year anniversary. While the waitress was nice, the food was mid at best. My partner's food was even worse than mid. Her steak was like shoe leather even though their menu said they slow-cooked the meat. Yeah, I don't think so. The steak was NOT slow-cooked. My food, on the other hand, was just okay. The mozzarella sticks I ordered were way too greasy. I realize they're deep-fried, but these mozzarella sticks tasted like they were nothing BUT grease. I couldn't even finish them. Horrible dinner for an anniversary. I won't be back.
Honestly, I’ve never had a good experience with this location until now. Gabbie served me and was amazing. She was so friendly and fast with everything. I’d come back just to have her as my server again.
I came here for my 21st birthday with two friends who are also servers at other restaurants. Our server was the bartender who did not pay any attention to us at all throughout our meal, it took 15 minutes to be greeted by our server, and then another 15 to get drinks.
The server didn't deliver our food, a cook did. We had made it almost all the way through our meal before I had to stand up and get their attention for a refill and the check. I don't doubt the server was busy, but I received less than the bare minimum on my birthday, and I think that is benign.
I won't ever be coming to this establishment again, as Red Robin is right next door and would never consider treating me and my party this way, especially on my birthday.
Overall great experience. I had the 12 oz. ribeye, which came with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned broccoli. My wife had the Classic Broccoli Chicken Alfredo. The only complaint we had was that the mashed potatoes were not very fresh. As for our server, Amy, we couldn't have gotten luckier. She had a beaming attitude and made sure to frequently check in with us, but not to the point where she was a bother. She created a friendly environment that will surely have us coming back, even if our mashed potatoes are stone cold next time!
