Restaurant is in a great location. When we first walked in we were "greeted" by a lady who I think might've been on her lunch break because she had a mouth full of food. She looked at my wife and I and with a straight face just said "2?" The server was friendly. Our fries had a hair on it. The burger and wings were great. The fiesta lime chicken was not so good. It had a very acidic taste and I could not finish it.
We had been traveling all day and decided to eat here after checking into out Hotel nearby. The food was wonderful. The employees were very friendly especially our server Tricia. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. It had been a long day traveling and she was a refreshing ray of sunshine for us. Thank you being a bright spot in our day and for the great service. Five stars all the way.
Food was good. I had the shrimp and chicken. It was piping hot but the mashed potatoes were barely warm. But still tasty.
Hubby's burger was great.
They need to redo their tAble tops as they are sticky, not from dirt but from the varnish coming off.
That didn't affect the food...just an FYI if the owners read this.
Service is very hit or miss. We've had a waiter who gives great service and has an awesome personality, and sometimes, like tonight, we only saw our waitress twice. Food is what you would expect from an Applebee's. Just would like more consistency from the staff.
Really gone downhill. Went for lunch with the kids today. Won't come back for a long time. Kids went out to the vehicle 20 minutes ago and I'm still waiting to bee able to pay. Our empty appetizer plates were never cleared, our meals were soggy and bland, two of my children who had blue lemonade got blue mountain dew refills they don't drink soda. I'm saddened because there's not many options and now one less.
The Food: really not too shabby, sometimes comes out cold but usually it's good. it's usually pretty quick too.
The Service: day staff is what you expect. polite but kinda dull. the lady who is missing a bit of her arm is exactly the kind of server you'd expect at an old time diner. she's not rude but if you asked her how her day was going, she'd tell ya ???? so that's fun.
the night staff is a riot. edgy jokes and sass all around. except the manager, she seems to always be in a bad mood ???? nothing rude but certainly don't bring ya grandma to dinner at 11pm. staff seem like theyre overworked but laughing about it. but then again the clients that come in at 10pm are probably the same
The atmosphere: I mean it's Applebee's. it's mid but it's not bad.
The Applebees Grill + Bar located in Dickinson, North Dakota is a very good restaurant. The food was good, but our server was awesome. His name is Brandon. He also has family members that work there. We highly recommend this restaurant due to our server.
My daughter loves this place. We had another great stop with great service.
