UPDATE TO THE STATEMENT OF :Will not be going back. Took to long for everything people where getting up and leaving . People not getting their complete orders. Just bad (UPDATE) the manager Chris contacted me and rectified the situation and worked with us. We are on our way to retry the experience. WE WENT BACK TODAY TO SEE . CHRIS THE GENERAL MANAGER WAS NOT THERE BUT WE WHERE SERVED BY KATRINA. SHE WENT WAY BEYOND THE EXPECTATIONS AND GAVE A GREAT SERVICE THE SODAS CAME THE SILVERWARE CAME BEFORE THE APPETIZER AND THE SALAD AFTER THE APPETIZER AND THEN THE ENTREÉ WE EVEN HAD THE DRINK REFILLED BEFORE WE ASKED. SHE DEFINITELY DESERVES A RAISE. VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. THANK YOU KATRINA FOR A AWESOME SERVICE
I wanted to see if the “all you can eat” for a particular special was still available & it was not . I have to give credit to the Host who is an elderly man & wow his hustle has to be commended , clearing plates , seating , cleaning . I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years . The food is decent in fact quite tasty . I ate the battered cod & fries . I peeled off some of the batter and yes it was cod & it was very steamy & hot . Fries were excellent . Ribs were also very good with fries . The interior is needs a makeover .
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!
1) first thing the bartenders don’t know what the heck they are doing, honestly I don’t know how you can make a margarita taste so bad, how can you messed up the same drink more then 3 times and why would you put the limes inside the tequila shots ?
2) the servers are as lost as the bartenders and would not even get you a water in a matter of 10 mins, our server was terrible the drinks came out wrong, the food came out wrong, never came to check on us.
3) the manager was rude and told us to get other drinks because it was easier for him to tell the customers to go his way or the high way instead of having competent staff behind the bar.
Overall this was a terrible experience wouldn’t waste my money here ever again.
Went there on an unbusy night and it took the server 30 minutes after ordering a beer to return to the table to say they were out of that particular beer. Then they forgot to bring a salad and messed up all the substitutions on the entrees. The food was cold and bland. There’s a reason this restaurant is cheap. You get what you pay for with this place.
A couple days after Hurricane Milton which was my birthday week my husband and I just wanted to get out and enjoy a hot meal. Haven't been to Applebee's in a minute, we were able to get a table right away no line no wait. The atmosphere and the staff was very nice. Made my birthday week enjoyable.
We went there to watch football yesterday. We like to sit at the bar and chat with the bartender and other guests. We were the only two at the bar , when we first arrived. After waiting about 5 minutes, my husband went to the hostess to ask if the bartender would be back soon. Jen finally came out to the bar, and seemed very surly. She made me feel like we were imposing. When we asked for another round, she picked up my glass, that still had wine it, and poured the remainder of my wine down the sink. My husband asked her to wait the next time, till the glass was empty before removing the glass. She seemed out of sorts even more after that. I normally enjoy going to Applebee's, but doubt if I will go back to that one.
Great place to watch the game. Especially when the Buccaneers win. Great food,cold beer and great price. But could do without the 2 guys. Sitting at the bar. They appeared to be brothers or something. One guy is obviously severely drunk and screaming obscenities, very loudly. We left and went elsewhere.
