UPDATE: Missy the manager reached out pretty quickly to resolve the issue. I am happy that this was taken seriously. We will eventually be back. This service I received I can tell is not the norm. May have just been a bad night. Thank you to Missy for the prompt response.
Top 3 worst experiences. Not because of the food, but because of our waitress. Where do I start.
Arrived at 8:30pm on 11/6. Things started off fine. Our waitress took our order, then things took a turn.
1) After our waitress took our order she asked if we wanted more water, I stated yes, then she just left and didn’t come back until she was giving us our check. No hey was the food good, no hey do you guys want anything else.
- She just completely disappeared, she had a jacket on and we watched her go outside to do who knows what. Even my 9 year old son said something. “Dad where is our person”
2) We wanted to order more drinks/dessert but by the time she got back to us it felt like she was just ready for us to leave. She actually did come back and ask us if we wanted dessert but she already had the check in her hand and we were already really upset so we just left.
- Our bill ended up being $57, but we had planned on getting multiple drinks and dessert and we always tip 25%. This is the only time in recent memory we felt the need to not tip as much and almost left no tip
In conclusion we understand when things are out of our waiter’s control but she was just completely disinterested. It was not busy or chaotic. If we didn’t feel bad, we would have left 0 dollars.
The food was on par with our expectations, we knew this wasn’t a fine dining experience. But our waiter failed to meet the most BASIC expectations of service. I don’t know if she had something going on or what but definitely nearly the worst experience we have ever had.
We anted to ask for a manager but I didn’t want to embarrass her or upset my family. She definitely needs to be spoken to.
The crazy part is she didn’t even give us her name. But she had black hair and what looked like a wrist brace on and a black puffy jacket.
Ordered burgers from here and they were completely RAW. Manager seemed genuinely apologetic and offered a coupon, so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Came in a couple weeks later for a quick drink and the app, and was told by bartender Haley that the coupon was only good if an entree was purchased. It literally says with ANY purchase…twice lol. Not gonna argue about an $8 app so I just finished my drink and left. Turns out, Haley did me a favor. I went to the bathroom before I left and it was completely disgusting with flies everywhere! I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like ????
I don’t like leaving negative reviews but from food, to service, to cleanliness, I just have to warn people to stay away!
My Wife and I visited this Applebees around 2 pm. We got in the door and seated promptly, to our seat. We sat down and both commented on the smell of the restaurant. We talked back and forth but agreed that it smelt like “feet.”
As we opened and flipped through the menu, I noticed a bug that was on her menu. Thankfully it was dead. I flicked the bug away and promptly noticed the blood stain that was left on her menu. It had been a misquote. I ended up returning the menu.
Are waiter got to the table. His name was “Ulysses” no name tag. We started our order like we do at most restaurants two waters one with no ice. He ended up bringing both with no ice. A minor draw back but having experiences everything this far, are outlook had deteriorated.
I made an order for the appetizer boneless wings. When they arrived I was greeted with BBQ sauce over flowing off the plate, no vegetables, and no silverware. He apologized about the missing vegetables, said there is no substitution. We order our food and and he indicates he will be right back with our silverware.
10 minutes go by and we are finally bright are silverware with another sorry. I opened mine hoping to start eating my food, but the silverware was dirty. So dirty the napkin I was going to clean the plate off with so it stopped dripping over the size was also dirty.
It was at that point, my wife and I agreed to leave. I flagged the individual down and let him know that we were just going to go.
I would not recommend going to this place for food.
Great service, great food, and the atmosphere of all the people around is great... My favorite place to go to burn down my days work. Peter and Macey rock the bar, always helping each other, it is amazing how they tag team the bar and always on point. That is why I have chosen Applebee's as my to go Restaurant/Bar place. Keep working hard to reach greatness.
Eddie was amazing. Hubby and I wanted a quick lunch and a cocktail, we saw Applebees and decided to go for it. Prices were amazing and the server Eddie was fantastic! Bravo!! Will be back for another Sunday lunch, thanks Eddie for the wonderful experience today ♡
The food was not tasty at all at this location unlike other locations. Chicken Quesadilla was oily, French fries were mushy, some portions of kids pizza was very hard, Southwest Chicken Rice was very dry with no taste. Classical Appetizer combo and strawberry sundae was the only things which was better.. overall it was just ok..
These restaurants are usually hit or miss. Today was an absolute HIT with the food and service. I had the .50 boneless wings which happen to be the most saucy so far that I’ve found. This along with the oriental chicken salad was just *chefs kiss *. I’m glad I made a stop at this location. The server was just the best and making sure I was doing alright.
The bartender gal was sweet & attentive.
Her manager seemed to have her back in dealing with a customer too which is always great to see (supportive management of their staff).
Excellent appetizers, always a great place to grab a cold one too (beer) ????????????????????
