Had a wonderful experience! I haven't been in nearly 12 years and the food and service we're amazing ????????
Hardly any people were there and service was top notch because of it. Our waitress was friendly and prompt. The bourbon street chicken was overpowered by seasoning but the shrimp and chicken was cooked to perfection. The spicy past was decent but seemed generic for pasta sauce flavoring.
Lady at the bar was very good and made us feel welcomed. We got the Sweet and spicy chicken sandwich that tasted very delicious it was nicely made and perfect amount of sauce on it. We also ordered an oriental chicken salad…. I had a few bites and could only taste the rice noodles and sliced almonds. It’s a salad for a reason that’s supposed to be the main base of a salad. Definitely disappointed how someone can actually mess up a salad. Blue raspberry lemonade was very sweet and good so at least I could wash down the noodles and almonds.
Very disappointed with this Applebees. Applebees is usually a go to for us when traveling with two young kids. The service was horrible. After our food was served we had to ask for silverware and napkins, said silverware was dirty, the floor throughout the entire restaurant was dirty and sticky, including under the table. Waited over 20 minutes, just to pay our bill as our waitress disappeared.
Visited on 8/8/24 between 8:30-9:30pm. Approx. 20 patrons upon my arrival, After 9pm it was around 10. 5 workers working the front till 9pm, then became 3. Waited 10 minutes before getting to order, had their unlimited wings/riblets special. Spent more time waiting between orders (5 wings per plate) than eating... the company is going about the new altered special wrong (obviously just focused on not wasting unfinished product) because the more downtime consumers have between plates is more time to digest. The larger the portion seems the more its going to make consumers full. On top of that the more times the waitstaff have to go back & forth between tables & the backroom which is less efficient.... during one of my waiting periods I'm overhearing the bartender from 50 feet away (that's how dead quiet it was inside) stating to a couple out of area visitors on how that current time of day is practically a "slow period for them"... even though if that were the case I'd think service would be a little more efficient if the workers were that bored.
It started off with us being bought over to a booth with a screaming child in the seat over even though most the restaurant was empty. Took 10+ to get a drink order in, waited another 20 for an app just to have tastless dip and wings that were doused in so much garlic a vampire hunter would blush. I then finally get the burger to find out the fries are ice cold and the burger itself had been cooked so long it was practically crumbling apart. All completely drowning in some yellow greasy sauce that tasted like vinegar. Don't waste your time here. I've had much better food from McDonalds.
We had a great lunch today. We had the chicken fajita wrap, Caesar salad, won ton tacos, and French onion soup. All were excellent and very warm. Our server Sara L was great! She was very helpful, we saw her often, and she always had a smile on her face. The restaurant was also pretty clean, which most Applebees are not, so that was great.
We had Troy M as our waiter. He was litterally the sweetest person ever. 10/10 best service I have ever had. You could tell he genuinely cared for you and was just amazing. The rest of the stuff was absolutely lovely too. Very sweet people. The food wasn't bad but the service made it so worth it!
