Food was passable service, horrible only two table tops in the place and two waitresses. Everything took long food was served. Luke warm would never go back. I always read about them going out of business and I can see why I can’t believe corporate hasn’t come in and straighten the place out of course in this day and age that’s hard to do.
Ordered to go and was told a time to pick up, when we arrived it wasn’t ready. Waited an additional 10 minutes but I do understand being busy. However, we drove a total of 5 minutes home and the food was cold so apparently it had been sitting for awhile. The worst part is we were missing and item and the rest of the order was not accurate to what we specified online. There goes my tip as well, so sad there are no accountability anymore.
Went in for a later dinner and food was so so. Chicken tortilla soup tasted like chicken broth with spice horrible. Manager served it and took it back was acredc flag to me then. Took off bill that wad fine. Certain things not to order later I've learned tonite. But orher food looked great and was enjoyed.
They have gone downhill. I was there three days ago, on a Saturday, and the wait was over an hour, not because they were crowded, not because of reduced capacity guidelines for covid, but because they were only using 5 tables. All 5 in close proximity of each other. Then the food comes. The mozzarella sticks were delicious- hot, fresh and pretty perfect, but clearly a fluke based on the entrees we got. My sons' chicken tenders were hard and dried out and my salmon was dry, but after the long wait, I opted out of sending anything back. We just ate what we could and got out of there. And with only 5 tables, server wasn't coming to check on us often. Refills were needed but by the time she was back we were ready to go. Get it together, Applebee's Swansea, IL!!
Our time at this establishment was quite enjoyable. The staff didn't seem to mind the rowdy little one, which was refreshing; although, I managed to reel him back in every time the lad jumped ship.
We (party of eleven) had some nice quality time playing Uno and eating delicious food. I couldn't ask for a more ideal setting.

I'm done with Applebee's!! The food hasn't been the same since 2019. I ordered a Shrimp parmesan medium Steak and it's hard as a rock and not pink. The parmesan is thick and cold. You all need to hire quality cooks. Since no one is answering the phone tonight, I will be calling tomorrow for a refund!!
Really liked the service and everyone was working wherever was needed. I love to see people work together as a team . I'm strictly a frozen margarita type of person but the 5.00 drinks must've been so good the strawberry puree was ran out. I did enjoy the Bahama Mama . The food was delicious and price was reasonable. But to see everyone working hard to make sure customers needs are met and putting aside ego. Was truly mind-blowing.
Ordered on line, time was given to show up. Order not ready. Can't find it , then when the order is presented. It's tied up so I could leave. She said it was remade, the food cold . They found my on line order . I look in the bag missing a side. Ask for the manager to let her see . If my order was remade why don't you know what's missing. So she did get the missing item. But what about my experience. No worries ????
