Best WLM Reviews
A busy schedule had us grabbing dinner here tonight. What a mistake!
We entered the restaurant and were greeted by a hostess along with the booming of Kareoke music. The bar, in the center of the restaurant, was filled with folks, and the lighting throughout the restaurant was dim. Once seated in a booth that seriously needed an apholstry job, we ordered and tried to have a conversation over the singing/music, televisions with various media dumps adding to the audio chaos. At points, it was so loud that our waitress had to lean over our table into our faces to communicate with us. The waitress delivered our meals, my Fish and Chips, and my husband's Prime Rib Dipper with fries. Both had an item missing. The sandwich had no bowl of Au jus for dipping, and I had no tarter sauce for the fish. The Au jus was brought in a disposable 3.25oz ramikin when my husband asked for an extra as in the past it came with an 8oz bowl, we were told it would be $5! My husband asked to speak to the manager and the waitress returned stating that Spot, the manager, said that the sandwich is served with the "4 ounce container" and there isn't anything she can do.
The images on the menu and website show an 8 oz bowl served with the sandwich.
So where to begin place was nasty nobody cleaned the seat before we sat down then we found out all knifes where dirty when asked tye person u asked later found out his name was Vincent said "I don't know what night shift is doing I work days" he then took ours saying he will grab some more but just rinsed them off. I ordered cheese fries I don't think they could be any colder if they just pulled them out of the freezer. Aswell as they look very poor for my meal I ordered 12.99 wings. Came to me freezing I though it was a joke so when they brought me the coleslaw I thought it might be hot. Sprite tasted like Mt dew thr Mt dew taste like water ontop it seemed like mister Vincent just wanted to pull up a chair and sit with the pretty girl and her daughter.. your there to work not flirt. Salad look like it got vomited up by a cow all and all worst food ever and I will not be back to this restaurant ever.if you had a choice to eat a dirty jockstrap or here add a little salt to the jockstrap.. would rate 0 stars if I could and maybe the health inspector should make a trip.
Me and my wife have loved this location for a while ever since Ebony took over. However recently, there was a hire for a server by the name of Mack I believe? He is a younger guy. He is very rude. He is always in street clothes. Always rude to me and my wife. We had a visit about a month ago now and I should have left a survey then but I did speak to a manager. He was rude, when taking our order he walked away while we were talking, the food came out wrong twice because he wouldn’t write anything down and then would just walk away mid us speaking, he slammed my plate on the table, he would go outside WITH the manager to go to their car for who knows what and sit there, I spoke with the manager and couldn’t believe HE was the manager because he was going outside with the server on numerous occasions just to sit in a car. Last time me and my wife came inside to eat MACK was there again and we ordered waters and he said no you can’t get water “the earth is out of water” then walked away and so we just left. I wish Ebony would do something about this because we are considering never returning.
Nice location right off the road. Staff was very friendly and food was good. Location has been clean each time we stop there.
Seems hard to get utensils without having to ask for them and the servers are not always attentive so you will be without a refill in spots. When the servers are alerted you have a need they are super helpful.
Decent place if you are on the road.
The service was not good. We spent a long time waiting for our food. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture or description on the menu. The restaurant was not crowded so I am not sure why they were so slow. Not much taste to the food. Just a lot of black pepper.
Good menu, good quality, service varies but usually ok. Decent atmosphere. Nice option for a less expensive restaurant meal.
Typically Applebee's is a safe bet. Today was a surprise. My fish & chips looked good, but it was extremely rubbery. There were no servers, and I was unable to locate someone to correct the problem.
I waited to speak to manager... waiting about 5 minutes, finally someone came out saying the manager was busy. Disappointing experience.
The food is nasty, especially the wings. They need real cooks there. Got my food late, was told 3 different stories about why it wasn't ready. The last person I talked to was the cook, I think. He told me that they had to cook the wings twice to make sure they were done. They not that big so I knew that was a lie, then he said he had to prep my order, lies on top of lies. My wings were barely warm and one order had 3 very tiny pieces of celery that I wouldn't dare serve to a customer, so I don't know what he was prepping. He was eating something when he came out.. which is unprofessional. This was a waste of time and money. Applebee's you need to make sure you hire people who can cook and not just anybody to fill the position.
