Well having a hard time trying to rate this. Waitress was good , very polite . Was waited on, in a reasonable time. Food took about 35 minutes to arrive which I felt was still long seeing there was only 3 tables with people in the whole restaurant. OK now we get to the food . Ordered a 8 oz sirloin , cooked medium. Received what looked like maybe 4oz sirloin cooked well done. Talk to management and was taken care of right away. But had to wait another 20 minutes to eat. But just what if this place had been busy? Would the service had been worse? Will try again and see what the difference would be.
We went there for dinner tonight. Was very surprised at how slow they were on a Friday night. Despite being slow. We had to wait 10 mins for a table. Lots of tables were not even clean. We finally got sat down. They sat us at a table right next to trash cans that was overflowing stuff all over the floor. Brom and dustpan and all. It was so distasteful. Brought out appetizer we ate it all and still to water or silverware. Finally, the food came out, and still no silverware. I'm wondering how I'm going to eat my food. It's ashamed because their food is actually great for the price. Just the service is so bad. We probably will not be back.
I Don't Kno Where To Begin...... Came in and was seated... Waited on the server forever... Ordered drinks... Then waited forever again for them.... Food finally came after waiting n waiting on that ... Things were forgotten and the order was not totally complete.... I kno the waitress was busy and she definitely needed help but ????.
So I have very mixed feelings about my dining experience. On one hand the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hostess was very professional and she did well in getting us to our table. Our waitress made a few mistakes, but she was swamped so it's totally acceptable for her to make them. But upon entering the men's restroom I noticed it was in complete disarray. Urine on the floor, brown paper towel in the toilet. It just gave off extremely ghetto vibes. Then I return to my table and examine the rest of the restaurant. It's actually filthy. There is literal spit stains on the walls?(Does the owner notice all the stains on them?) The cleanest place we got was our booth and that was only because the hostess wiped it off for us beforehand. I can only imagine what that kitchen looks like if the cracks are this visible on the surface cursory glance. So overall, I wouldn't recommend this Applebees location despite the people their trying their hardest to make it a good experience. This is clearly a owner/ management problem. If they remedy this I would GLADLY return in the future no hard feelings at all. I would also change my review to 5 stars. But at this time, it's a 3 star or maybe even less on a busier day.
Went to dinner here last night, our server hadn't come to our table until about 25-30 minutes after we were sat (and it was NOT busy, there was maybe 3 other parties of 1/2 people when we had arrived), we placed our drink, app and dinner order at once and didn't receive our drinks until about 15 minutes after (We hadn't even been given water!), our appetizer arrived about 25 minutes after we placed the order and it was COLD--we ordered mozzarella sticks and the cheese was stiff like it had been sitting out for a while, our dinners arrived warm thankfully. Our server was very nice, but this was not a good experience.
This was the first time I have ever left a restaurant hungry. Don't get me wrong...Taylor our service was outstanding. She bared with our complaining first about the pop not tasting right. Kinda like no syrup to give it sweetness. Second my son's hamburger was burnt on the ends where even the buns had a burnt spot.....and then let's talk about Stella....Stella was not even close to being in groove. I have never sent a beer back....but Stella was old....flat....no bubbles....Let us also say the place was not even a third busy but yet they were making people wait to sit done...Left there and went to Culver's.......
Walk in at 7:10. Almost completely empty. Wait 5 minutes for seat. Then 15 for waters. Then another 45 for the food to get to us. So an hour to get the food in an empty restaurant. I didn’t even mention the food was bad. Our waitress was nice, but nice only goes so far when you go somewhere for food, and it’s hard to get the food.
So I gave this place a good review last year, but something has happened and now it sucks. The service is awful, been here for over hour and still don't have our food. Been waiting for 30 mins for a beer. Several minutes go by and I don't see a single server on the floor. The only person I see actually doing their job consistently, is the kid at the host stand (that kid deserves a promotion). If the host seats you, and they say "Roderick will be your server" run, do not walk to the nearest exit.
Update: 1 hour and 15 mins later our food is finally here! My chicken sandwich is drier than my sense of humor, there's no ranch on, it tastes of uncooked batter, and our fries are cold. Feel bad for all the folks coming in after us. May God have mercy on them.
