This place is in my neighborhood and I thought I’d give it a try. Mistake. Ordered a steak, mashed potatoes, “deluxe” Mac and cheese.
The “deluxe” Mac and cheese was PLAIN NOODLES with about four tablespoons of cheese sprinkled on plain boiled noodles with a few shards of bacon.
The steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, was more raw-to-rare with some parts so rare I couldn’t eat them.
The garlic mashed potatoes were unmemorable and bland. Like they forgot the garlic part.
No wonder there were only a handful of cars in the parking lot on a Friday night.
Applebees in Monterrey, opening hours up to 2 am and therefore perfect for a dinner after late shift. Daily specials for drinks available, beer for $3.99. Boneless wings okay, spicy sauce not available.

Overall a pretty great visit to my local Applebee’s in South Austin! Our server, Zandria, made the experience a pretty great one. I really enjoyed the lime chicken entree and their mozzarella stick appetizer, although the broccoli chicken alfredo was a bit bland. Their drinks specials are always so affordable, especially during the week. Would definitely go back for their weekly specials!
Came to Applebee’s with my family on a Saturday night, it was pretty late. We were seated at around 9:30 PM. One of the advantages of coming to dinner this late is that they had a happy hour which was amazing. Half off select appetizers from 2-5pm and 9-2am! We ordered several of the late night happy hour bites. We got the chicken quesadillas, buffalo boneless chicken bites, and the spinach & artichoke dip with chips. All amazing! We also tried the Bahama mama from their happy hour $5 cocktail drink menu, so good. The frozen margarita and chili rum blue moon pint was good too! Definitely recommend, we needed up getting 4 appetizers and 4 alcoholic drinks for a total of $52 + tip, a real good deal if you ask me.
Was great food awesome bathroom sucked someone threw up on the floor and my son was upset they didn’t have crayons can’t remember the mixed drink but no bueno
I have ordered at least 5 times from this location, It was only one time when I liked the food. Rest of the time I was disappointed with the quality of the food and the packaging. The food was not cooked properly and lacked flavor, Additionally, the packaging was poor, with some items missing and others not properly secured, which resulted in a messy and unsatisfactory dining experience.
I have reported each time for quality issue like uncooked, but unfortunately, there was no improvement in the quality of the food or packaging. I am disappointed with my overall experience and would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
That's One Star for That One Time.
I got chicken tenders, buffalo wings and chicken Alfredo broccoli.
All of them are tasty!

Quality -> fresh
Price -> inexpensive cause I choose 2 for 25$ stuff.

Absolutely everything was amazing during our dinner.
The food was amazing , everything came out perfect.
But above it all was our server Robin , she was a superstar bringing refills, our food, answering any questions I had. I will absolutely 100% be coming back because of her!
