Very disappointed with my order this evening. Decided to treat the family to takeout we selected Applebees since they have good burgers at fairly decent prices. However, my order was not as I ordered. I requested that all burgers be cooked throughly with no Pink. As it clearly shows on the labels.
Out of the 5 burgers ordered only two were cooked as requested. This the one thing I truly dislike when it comes to ordering takeout, they don’t care if they mess up your order because more than likely you will not drive back to the store for a replacement. If this would’ve been a dine-in order they would’ve took the time to get it right. Such a disappointment tonight it will be a long time before I order takeout from Applebees again!
We had a wonderful date night last night. Our server Felicity was so sweet and on top of our orders and drink refills. We got the Combo Platter, two orders of wontons, the 2 for $32 which included 2 Caeser salads, the Honey Pepper Chicken Pasta, and the Bourbon Chicken and Shrimp.
All the food was hot, tasted great, and got out to us within 10 mins of ordering.
We were very pleased with our service. She was busy but paid us just the right amount of attention, got our orders correct, and helped us get packed up and paid. The value was very good. We paid almost $90 for all the food, drinks (a soda and iced tea), and the tip which was 20%.
We would definitely return for the food, service, and pricing. We went during happy hour for the half price apps. ????
Went with a fairly large group and was greeted presently by Esther! As for our server, Sam, he was amazing! The majority of my table ordered kids meals and he was super polite and went along with our fun! Definitely recommend this location :)
First time trying the wonton chicken tacos they are good. I generally don't like hard shell tacos, but I will have them again
Tessa has been here for five years. She was very cordial and thorough of the heart making sure we have what we needed. The burger was just the way. I liked it. Bacon, tomato iceberg lettuce shrubs and she brought out to ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise so I can add just what I wanted. she told me that people stay here a long time. Her bartender had been here 15 years felt like this was more of a family environment and they really cared about their patrons.
I honestly wish I could give no stars. We placed a pickup order at 430 this afternoon and were told to pick up at 459. We arrived and waited until 515 for them to bring the order out. Got home and of course missing food. Called because one of the items was a main dish, Oriental chicken salad with NO almonds, nut allergy. We also ordered burgers for kids, NO pink. We cut into the burgers and clearly they thought we marked blue rare. Called to report missing food and they asked us to return, 45 minutes later the whole order was remade. Brought it back home and yep still issues. Almonds all over the salad, trashed that and still pink burgers. So if you’re ordering pickup from here you definitely want to check food and definitely make sure it’s cooked all the way.
Side note they sent an email to tell them how satisfied are you with the order, click the button and all it does is says loading, clearly they know what I will say.
What to take a moment to thank Applebee's for honoring Veterans today and offering them a free meal.
The staff at Applebee's in Federal Way were amazing from the greeter, to the waitress and even the staff came to each table that had a Veteran to thank them for their service. Food was great also Big thank you.
Went to federal way location for dinner on a Monday night told it was going to be a 15 minute wait, no problem. There were 2 groups ahead of us, a 5 top and a 3 top. Looking around the restaurant while we waited, bar was full (Mon night football, I get it) however, the rest of the restaurant seating was 3/4 empty tables. Asked the hostess, she said she wasn't waiting for any reservations to come in. I don't get it. Why are you having people packed in the waiting area, waiting to be seated, instead of at a table? Poorest organization and seating skills I've ever seen, and I've been in the restaurant business for 25+ years. Won't be going back, EVER!!!! Not carside to go either.
