Those Cinnamon Buns are deceptively small.
Ordered online for pickup several hours later in the day, going with a selection of the Chicken Wanton Tacos as an appetizer, the Zesty Lime Chicken for my main course, and Cinnabon Mini-buns for dessert. All in all coming to around $43.
When I arrived I was a few minutes early but found the pickup room to be unstaffed, I waited another five minutes on top of this to be seen to and another two minutes for the employee to return with my meal. Should have just gone through the front door, as I bet had the girl who showed up not come to clock herself in I would have stood there for who knows how long before leaving and bothering the hostess for my pickup. So we're already not off on a great start.
When I got home and opened everything up I was a bit underwhelmed. Lately when I open my take out orders I'm almost digging into them straight away, they would smell great, and taste good. But no such smells burst forth and the dishes looked rather sad, especially the mini-buns. To confirm my suspicions I took a bit of everything while it was still warm. The chicken lacked any zesty flavor, and more so tasted like metal. The rice was equally bland, and only saved by the juice soaked tortilla strips below the chicken. The tacos only managed to taste like coleslaw, with both the fried wanton and the chicken inside being also rather tasteless. At least the mini-buns had flavor, but when they began to cool off they turned into these hard lumps of cinnamon tar. Pretty disappointing.
It has been many years since I was last at an Applebee's, but this just tells me that either you need to eat inside to make sure your meal is as fresh as possible or that Applebee's take out is not good. OR the quality of this chain has seriously gone down hill. A shame, but I can only approve of 3 stars.
Went with my friends and was pleasantly surprised. We were seated pretty quickly, and the waitress was very polite and professional. We did wait a little long to get our order taken, but it was pretty busy, and after that everything was quick and surprisingly delicious.
We first started with the mozzarella sticks and the spinach dip. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good, but the spinach dip was absolutely delicious.
Shortly afterward, my bacon cheeseburger came out, and I have to say that it was really good. The burger was cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp, the cheese was delicious, and the french fries were amazing. If there was any complaint, I would say that the fries had a little too much salt on them, but beside that everything was really great.
I know this place gets a bad rap because it's a chain restaurant, and I also have had bad experiences in the past, but this time around was a really great time, with great food, and I would be happy to go back again. Again what we do is
Today we were celebrating my sisters bday and we wanted to get the spooky margaritas. Our party had 7 so we called ahead of time to see if they were too busy and if we will be able to get served.We got there and the host said he was unable to help us and he greeted us with so much attitude and disrespect. We were a bit confused at first because the lady on the phone said that we could be seated. If they were unable to service us, they should’ve said that on the phone. so after 10 minutes of us going back and forth explaining both our sides he finally gave in and showed us a table. Then as he was walking away he mumbled something under his breath. At that point, we just upped and left because we came there to have a good time not to be disrespected and treated poorly. i don’t know who the host was or what his problem was but if you have someone at the front for customers make sure they actually obtain customer service and are reasonable….. We ended up going to the Mexican restaurant which is in that plaza and it only took us about 30 seconds to walk to. Definitely check it out if the service here was just as bad as what we experienced. Their drinks are strong, reasonable price, kind service and great food.
If I could leave a zero star I would! We went here last night Halloween 2024. We got seated right away,the waiter came over about 10 minutes later. 3 of us in our party 1 was using the restroom. He brought over 2 sets of silverware,I told him there were 3. Had to ask for the 3rd set 3 times! We placed our order drinks appetizers and entrees. Took about 5 minutes to get normal drinks about another 15 for that alcoholic beverage. All beverages were watered down! The waiter had still not been back to see how we were doing! Had to ask for the alcoholic beverage! Appetizers came out had no issues with those really but a few things we dealt with it ! Again no waiter stopped to check on us but he did however check on other guests around us! Entrees came out,daughters steak was not as how we asked for it,they took it back microwaved it and brought it back out,took that off the bill! Husband finally cut into his steak and was rare. He decided to cut it in half was totally uncooked almost purple like with big white veins in it! Absolutely disgusting! They took that off as well. The entire staff was rude, the waiter,a server,and a manager finally that looked like someone from a Cheech and Chong Movie! Very unprofessional! This is 1 restaurant we will never be returning too !!!@
I would not like to visit this location again... starting with the waiting time to get sit, we were at the front desk for 10 minutes with my pregnant wife. There were only a few people in the restaurant not too busy at all. Finally, when we get the attention of other staff on the other side, they sit us in a booth and the table was sticky....no biggie we cleaned with water and tissues. Then we ordered food and some drinks, the glass was so dirty that it had flakes floating and in the bottom, I ordered another drink ....no apologies, no manager showed up... when the food came, it was cold, the fries were salty and not fresh, the waitress came to ask if everything was good and she left without giving me time to say that the food was cold!!! Horrible experience highly not recommended eat here....
I went here on Veterans Day with my mother in law. Everything was great besides my food. The chicken looked undercooked so did the bacon but I didn’t think anything of it as I’ve never had problems before. Fast forward a few hours later and now next day I’m dealing with food poisoning. I ate the honey chicken tender pasta dish.
I went to this location on a long year of being overseas not only was the food under cooked but the drinks was watered down no customer service I had to beg for a fork and knife and as you could see my wipes was served with my food
We called ahead for a party of 7. I was told to come in we would be taken care of. We arrived the male hostess could not figure out how to seat us . I told him here is a high top table of 6 can we just add a chair ????????♀️ he went to the back . Came back tried to seat us at a low table of 6 , with a person in a wheelchair next to us. I said this is not the table I was talking about adding a chair here would block the walkway and interfere with the wheelchair. He went back to the manager. Came back to sit us at the original table. Put 7 menus on a table set for 6 and walked away????????♀️ um okay. I’ll ask the people next to us to use the extra chair and got it myself. As we sat , my husband was last and when the hostess went back to his station he was mumbling under his breath and talking about us out loud. My husband quickly let him know that was not acceptable. I love Applebees and I was so disappointed about the service. We decided to just leave after being told to be patient because it would be awhile before our waitress got to us. We went to a restaurant near by, we were immediately seated and had our food within 1/2 hour. I will never come to this Applebees again!!
