I usually have a great experience here! However, my fiance and I came in for a drink and an appetizer at about 5:30pm on a Monday night; it was not busy at all so we figured it would be quick. We sat for 10 minutes, had multiple servers walk by us and sitting in a booth near us, including what looked like the manager, and nobody ever came over. I guess it’s a good thing we left and didn’t get served with all the stuff coming out about their health rating. Not sure if we’ll be coming back here.
Usually we come here when leaving the beach and going back to Florence. The food is usually good but this past Friday I ended up with food poisoning. It was a little busy and we sat down pretty quickly but the table wasn’t cleaned so we asked someone to clean it again. I ended up getting the quesadilla burger and my mom got the clubhouse grille which tasted fine at first. My mom only ate half of her sandwich and said something doesn’t taste right. I should have stopped there but I ate the whole burger. Later that night i threw up the whole burger and then some. Now I’m suffering with the aftermath of food poisoning. I’m still in pain due to the built up gas and toxins left from that burger. I will not be returning anytime soon.
I recently had an awful dining experience at the Applebee's in Conway, South Carolina. From the moment we walked in, it was clear this visit was going to be a disaster. The AC was broken, so the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. This should have been our first clue to turn around and leave.
The signage on the door advertised drinks that weren’t even on the menu, a clear case of false advertising. We had to wait an excessive amount of time just for refills, and when I ordered a drink, the server brought the wrong one. To make matters worse, the second drink tasted diluted, as if they had added water instead of liquor.
The food was equally disappointing. My pasta, which was supposed to come with chicken, was missing the chicken entirely. The ribs I ordered tasted so bad they could have been served at McDonald’s. To top it off, our table was cluttered and the staff didn’t bother to pre-bust the table, leaving us with a mess throughout our meal.
Adding to our frustration, the location was inconvenient and far from us, wasting our gas money. The overall experience was so poor that I would never consider returning. Save your time, money, and sanity by avoiding this Applebee's.
Haven’t been to an Applebees in years. Stopped in for lunch for a break from Black Friday shopping, exhausted and hungry, my server Stephanie, who was also the bartender was so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to sit and relax and enjoy a family lunch. Always had a warm smile and full drinks and even a kind holiday spirit, even though she was clearly busy with at least 5 other tables to tend to and bar guests as well. Her hard work and dedication and even patience didn’t go unnoticed when we seen she was busy and still managed to give us all her attention. Lunch came out quick and hot and everyone working In the dinning room seemed in good spirits laughing and helping each other when asked. Great environment, service and food. Will return with friends again.
My daughter and I got the 2 for $35 which included an appetizer and two entrees. I got the bourbon chicken and shrimp. It was delicious. The only bad thing is that the appetizer was so small that one could eat it in just a few bites and still have room for their entree.
Applebee's Grill and Bar never disappoints with their Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp! This dish is a go-to staple for us, and it was as delicious as ever. The flavors were bold and savory, with the perfect blend of Cajun seasoning on the tender chicken and juicy shrimp. Served sizzling with sautéed onions and mushrooms, it was a treat for both the eyes and the taste buds. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was friendly, making for an all-around great dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving a reliable, flavorful meal!
The service was top notch, the atmosphere was typical Applebee's and fine, the food was terrible. Steak was to be medium rare- was well done, broccoli was correct, for what it was, potatoes were cold under the surface, most likely cooked via heat lamp. I don't bother the server about it and I'm not a "Karen". I was a cook for 8 years, this meal was terrible, and had nothing to do with my server. Date:12/4/24 between 6:55-7:31. I do not want, and will not accept, discounts, refunds, or vouchers.
Maryflor was my server tonight. Even though she was very busy and had multiple other tables, she was still very attentive to our table and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and kept a welcoming smile the entire time. She consistently made time to check in on us and make sure our drinks were full and we were happy. She was great and food was good also
