I had a disappointing experience with the mac & cheese. A watery, flavorless cheese sauce can definitely ruin the dish, especially considering mac & cheese is all about that rich, cheesy flavor and texture. A proper mac & cheese should have a creamy, well-seasoned sauce that clings to the pasta, with the cheese providing a satisfying depth of flavor.
I think your company could have improved it—thicker sauce, sharper cheese, or perhaps better seasoning overall. This is what my dish looks like when I cook. ^
I ordered the blackened shrimp pasta bowl with broccoli. The broccoli was overcooked and looked like soup and the pasta was not done. I had the waitress take it back and redo it. It came out looking the same way. Did not eat just left 10-11-24
To begin with, the silverware was filthy. I asked for another set, and it was just as dirty. The water had something floating in it. I went to my car and got bottled water. We decided to stay because it was late, the day was long and we were hungry, not sure where else we could go. We ordered cheeseburgers and a chicken sandwich. The fries were cold, but the burgers were good. No silverware is needed. Our bill came, and it was wrong. We asked to have it corrected, and it came back wrong again. The waitress took it to be corrected again. After waiting for a very long time, the waitress came back and asked if we were ready to pay. We advised that we still needed the check. She had forgotten she was correcting the bill she had taken to correct. We finally got it and paid. The waitress was disinterested in us as customers, took forever to bring everything, and was genuinely confused. This was such a bad experience. Applebee's Do Better!

Our recent dinner at Applebee's turned out to be a delightful surprise. Despite our usual preference against chain restaurants, this visit surpassed our expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly and received exceptional service from the most pleasant server.
Not only did our food arrive promptly, but it was served piping hot and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied without feeling overwhelmed. The cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable, adding to the overall positive experience.
This visit to Applebee's was an unplanned outing that turned into a memorable evening. It's safe to say we'll be returning, thanks to the great food, welcoming atmosphere, and the wonderful service that made our dining experience truly enjoyable.
My experience today was horrible. The table and menus were dirty. They didn't have the drink I ordered and the manager refused to switch my sides on my meal without charging me although they were both premium sides. She came to the table like we were bothering her by asking a question. The hostess was rude. It was a terrible experience all around. The staff could definitely use some customer service training.
First time coming to this specific Applebee’s and it was a good choice! The service was really good! We had a nice server and the cook who brought out our food even brought us extra fries! I got me a Whiskey Burger, fries, and a chocolate lava cake. The burger was good but the whiskey sauce was a definite no for me. It’s like the equivalent to adding Worcestershire sauce to the burger. The burger itself was good and cooked well done, so that’s a plus. Fries are fries so they were good too. The dessert was a solid 10/10! The sponge cake was really fluffy, the chocolate drizzled sauce was really good and hot and that ice cream was delicious ???? We also got some wings as an appetizer and we were able to split it half and half so. I tried the honey pepper and buffalo sauces and they were great too. All the food tasted fresh and we were in and out with speedy service.
My wife and I planned to have a late lunch 2:50 pm 9/13/24. As we walked in to the door 3 women stood by the hostess podium talking very loudly about and I quote "babies daddys" they continued their conversation for at least 5 minutes ignoring the 3 customers standing at their backs. The hostess them informed myself and my wife it would be at least 5, maybe 10 minutes. This would have been acceptable, if the entire place was not empty with an empty bar too. Sometimes your first visit is your last! I'm just glad I was intelligent enough to leave! The folks across the street were happy to see me and my money!
Wow! The first time ever recieving food that looks exactly like what the website shows. Bravo!
