Ordered a salad and a kids meal to go. Took over 30 minutes. The place wasn't even busy. Wouldn't substitute chicken for an impossible burger even if I paid more. Kids meal had hardly any sauce. Salad was good but overpriced.
Michael was the best server! Celebrated a guy-guy anniversary and wasn’t discriminating towards us. Lovely service! we had a great time and he was the sweetest server. def coming back and asking for him give him a. raise !
Bartenders are extremely friendly, attentive and professional. Managers check on you regularly and the staff in general is great. Food is dam good. I don’t know why anyone would have a cheeseburger anywhere else than here. Cheaper than some fast food places and served at your table.
We got here at around 8 and although the parking lot seemed really full there were plenty of seats inside. Inside looked relatively clean and the waitress was super nice. I personally have never like the main courses, I have felt like the quality of food has gone down while the price has gone up, so it is no longer worth coming here to eat a main meal. So I had ordered three appetizers which was enough to feed two people. The appetizers were good and I overall had a good meal
(Summary) I like the Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs, Oriental Chicken Salad, Fiesta Lime Chicken, Chicken Wonton Tacos, and it is my personal opinion that the quality of the food here is higher than the other locations.
Service-wise I have had mostly positive experiences. The only time I didn't was when I spent an hour waiting for my table in my car because of COVID restrictions and they never sent me a confirmation or called me that it was ready. I suppose they wrote down my number incorrectly. I wish they would just send you a confirmation first like in the other restaurants so you knew that they have the correct phone number.
I have dined at this specific location many times over the past few years, if I had to estimate I believe it has been around 50+ times over the last 8 years. After trying the other locations on Joe Battle, Gateway, and Rojas, I must say that the quality of my favorite dish (baby back ribs) is higher in this specific location and I have never had a bad experience food-wise in this restaurant before although it's not always consistent in flavor or size of the meals.
I do not know why specifically, but in this location the quality of the Double-Glazed Baby Back Ribs is consistently better than the other Applebee's locations (and Cheddars as well). Of course, this isn't a BBQ smokehouse or a steakhouse so if you are looking for the best ribs or steaks in the city this probably isn't going to be it. But if you happen to come to this restaurant and you like meat, I would highly recommend the double-glazed baby back ribs.
My second favorite dish is the Oriental Chicken Salad, followed by their Fiesta Lime Chicken and lastly the 4 Cheese Mac and Cheese.
As for appetizers, I have had the chicken wonton tacos (very tasty) spinach dip (not the best but pretty good), boneless wings (pretty standard), and the quesadillas (pretty standard, exactly what you'd expect).
Went on Saturday 4/8/23 around 5 pm for dinner. Seated promptly in a booth. Server Liliana was friendly and prompted with taking the drink order. My boyfriend and I couldn't decide what to order at first and felt kinda rushed in regards to placing our order.
Drinks - $6 Modelo Brutus
$6 - Tipsy shark margarita
$6 - Strawberry margarita
Appetizer - nachos (ground beef)
Entree - 4 cheese mac and cheese with chicken strips
Bourbon chicken and shrimp
Appetizer - Nachos were very salty

Bourbon chicken and shrimp - chicken didn't seem to be cooked all the way. Wasn't that great. My boyfriend ended up throwing up when we got home.
Drinks were very weak. Both of them. I started with the strawberry Rita (see my pic), and it was not completely "frozen"
I couldn't taste any alcohol in either drink. I ended up ordering tipsy shark, and it was like I was just drinking blue curasco, again no alcohol. Paying $65 for 2 people was not worth it, I doubt I will return.
Service was great, and that's the only reason for 3 stars. I am very disappointed in this visit.. Chilis is way better and has way better food.
Everything was excellent!! I was very hungry and I ordered a Cheese Burguer and it was delicious. Magnificent service and atmosphere. I definitely will come back again!
