The food is not the best but also not the worst. It’s either a hit or miss. My server was great. She was busy but still made an effort to make sure we were taken care of. The restaurant could use a good deep clean. Overall decent place to grab lunch or dinner.
My food was great! No complaints here. However, my friend ordered off the all you can eat seasonal menu choice and ordered the riblets, fries, & slaw. They were not the best to say the least. Our server “Kimberly P” handled the situation perfectly by politely asking if she could bring her manager over to speak to us. [side note ( Kimberly was on top of everything, she was an excellent Server; one of the best I’ve had in a long time) ] The manager “Arthur” came over to our table and was very professional and handled everything in a way that put us at ease almost immediately and made us want to return. I wish there were more managers and staff at local restaurants like this. This experience has really brought back that old neighborhood bar and grill experience Applebee’s was once known for. Well done ???? Guys. We will definitely return next time we are in Flowood, Ms. I recommend you give them a try!!! Very Good Service and Atmosphere, and this was late at night on a Saturday at that. A+++
Absolutely Phenomenal Service! My waitress was very kind and amazing. Our food was 10/10 from presentation to the taste. Everything was wonderful. I'm grateful for the experience. Ron and the rest of the other managers and staff are doing a beautiful job with this restaurant. I can tell by the atmosphere. <3
We set at the bar on Saturday 11-23-24 a little after 7:00 pm. I have never been treated so rude by a bar tender in my entire life. There was only one other couple sitting at the bar. She was obviously having a bad night. She was rude and unattended. She did not greet us nor did she ask if she could get us something to drink.When I got her attention to order a drink, she asked rudely “what do you want “ Unacceptable! My wife and I just walked out the restaurant. I called the manager to file a complaint. I feel like he was busy , and just brushed us off. Not cool!
Me and my homegirl was hungry the only place that was really opened out here close to the truck stop. Yes we're truck drivas, so we wanted some decent food. Customer service was great friendly funny guy tip was well deserved. Food was not good didn't even look pleasing. Drink was good blue Hurricane. But the chicken shrimp Bourbon where? Chicken had no flavor what so ever the potatoes were not loaded but topped and over cooked. I sent it back so no money loss but was very disappointed.
Nice clean restaurant. Small lunch crowd. Surprised by this till food was served. Husband's fish not completely cooked. Crispy outside rubbery on the inside. Four cheese mac and honey pepper chicken was okay. The chicken was good but the macaroni pasta was soupy. They did discount our bill cause of the uncooked fish.
The food here is very tasty and delicious. Perfect portion size, too.
My margarita tasted like margarita mix with salt. My husbands LIT was the same. Both drinks were disgusting, that we didn’t drink them. My husband ordered a medium cooked cheeseburger and he got rare. I ordered a medium rare sirloin and got rare. The service was super slow. The food was just pretty much left at our table and our server forgot we were there pretty much. We had to come to a doctors appointments 3 hours away and I thought this apple bees would be different, but clearly it’s not. Apple bees is definitely not what it used to be 10 years ago. Seems like people are just hired, not trained, not even cooks, they have the servers playing bartenders as well.... this is why this chain is slowly going down.
