Best WLM Reviews
We ordered in and first off my husband's burger came with fries and we ordered onion rings. The spinach dip came with a layer of cheese that couldn’t be broken up. It was decent but not the best. However, the chicken that was Louisiana style was great!
This Washington Rd location is going down. I haven’t been able to get here after 5p lately.
But twice recently, I have dined in and was disappointed.
I recommend the waitstaff be retrained in hospitality. They seem to be sluggish and look lackluster about service to diners.
Their clothes, uniform and hair do not give a clean, crisp appearance.
One waitress began talking to a customer with the food ordered for a table in her hands. So then both parties are then talking over the food. Have we learned nothing from Covid.
Proper training will alleviate these deficiencies. Also maybe better pay incentives. They probably don’t get good tips. IDK.
I’m not complaining but just giving my point of view. Hope it helps.
See pic of how my appetizer was served.
The spinach and artichoke dip was watery.
The chips were stale crumbles not whole chips for the majority
We were on our way home from Christmas with our family- wanted to get dinner. I specifically wanted to get the blonde dessert.
Anyway-we sat there for several minutes but no ever came to serve us. We didn’t drinks. We didn’t get food.
A family of 5 came in after us and instantly got served.
When I arrived at the Washington Road location it was trash on the floor and the place wasn’t even busy for a Saturday night . The hostess seemed like she had an attitude and didn’t want to be there. So I was already second guessing my own decision to dine in. My husband’s alcohol came before my soda which is fine but his glass was cracked up and the rim. And I thought that was a food safety hazard. Our waiter was nice but I wish we could have given the establishment a chance but we paid for the drinks and left.
I ordered the shrimp & steak with parmesan add onions with mash potatoes & broccoli. I did curb side. I had got it on my break so there was no way for me to go back. They only gave me steak & onions with the mash & broccoli. No shrimp or Parmesan. I paid almost $30 for them to forget my shrimp & Parmesan then when I called They had me on hold for so long. The manager never even came to the phone. Someone finally came to the phone to say I can come get a gift card. I went up there the next day & everybody was looking confused like they didn’t know anything about it. I finally got to the person I spoke to on the phone just for him to say he didn’t have no gift cards & I could Only get half off. I told him I didn’t want no food right at that moment I just wanted my gift card. He didn’t say that on the phone the previous day so I didn’t understand. He said that was all he could do right now. That was a waste of my time & really upset me. Why tell me to come get a gift card knowing they didn’t have any?
I want to start off by saying that our service was amazing. Despite it being later in the evening closer to close, and it was already busy since it was a holiday, our waitress was kind, attentive, and we were served quickly. They run a special for half price appetizers which we took advantage of. The boneless wings were alright, nothing special. The loaded waffle fries were delicious. The entrees were good, and reasonably priced. I got the blackened cajun salmon and substituted the mashed potatoes for Spanish rice. The desert was awesome too. We got the blue ribbon brownie; two huge slices of a warm gooey brownie with nuts and chocolate drizzle paired with two scoops of ice cream. Convenient location, right by the bowling alley. Good variety of food at good prices and its a solid option if you’re looking for a place that stays open late.
wheelchair friendly. Bar unable to make "bloody mary". Background music annoying. Pasta order very small; Order 2 to satisfy my companion. Good 'French' onion soup. House salad terrible. Breadsticks good but expensive. Server never attended our table, stayed behind bar (ie: had to go to bar to get iced tea refill...). Very expensive! Will not return.
I got here at 9:00pm, I sat down patiently waiting on the server to come. After waiting about 20 mins, my server finally arrived. She was nice to us, we ordered our drinks and an appetizer. After waiting about 30 mins for our drinks… we asked to see the manager because the place was kind of empty and was wondering what was the hold up on the food. After talking to the manager, he went to see what was the hold up on our orders. Shortly after doing so, he brought out the food.. the food was ok but my chicken was cold. I had a terrible experience! Wouldn’t recommend! Understaffed!
