Myself and a party of 2 others went to dine in today. Our server was awesome and we stated we’d be there for awhile to watch football. She said “stay as long as you like.” The manager then shows up and says “it’s quite unusual for people to stay this long at a restaurant so you guys should probably move on.” We paid over 100$ and didn’t disturb anyone in their barely half full restaurant. It’d be a different story if people were waiting for our table but that wasn’t the case. The manager was very unprofessional and that’s not how you should conduct business. I won’t be back
Just had lunch with a friend. I have to say that the customer service and attentiveness was excellent. We had Erika F. as our server, very friendly with matching personality. Her team of servers was great with running food out for her so it was hot and ready for us to eat. Thanks for the great service and food!
I'm not sure how to rate the food cause it was good but very super late; meaning as my appetizers showed after a guy who ordered a steak after I placed my whole order appetizers and burgers and his steak showed up before my appetizer then my burgers show up but no appetizer till I said something when my burgers came out. To find out there were 3 managers working that night, so who worked expo and not run the food out. Whoever it shouldn't have been there.
My server was awesome, though!!! I'll be back just for her service.
Everything was great. Sat at bar. Tables had a little wait. Service and atmosphere were great also.
Horrible experience, bad service all around and it’s Applebees food so nobody really has high expectations as far as that goes to start with. Server was nice, but the manager was very rude and tried pushing us out the door (because we were there too long) as paying customers I don’t think he realized that his restaurant was nearly empty. I’ll never return.
We stopped in for dinner on Sunday Night. There were a total of 7 groups including us. The hostess came up and asked if there were two, and then proceeded to ignore me and then ask what when I said two, she never made eye contact again and just walked off. She tried to place us at a table right next to another group when there was no one else seated in the area, I had to ask to be seated at a booth. As we sat down she threw one set of silverware on the table and said she was going to get more. We never saw her again.
Over 15 minuets later our waitress finally came over to take our drink order. She stopped at the other table in the section 3 times while we waited. We ordered our drinks, appetizers (Which she had to clarify), and meals. She brought the drinks back pretty quickly, and then we did not see her for almost 30 minuets when she finally brought our food out, and no appetizer. We ate our meal thinking maybe the apps would follow but not too worried if they did not. We finished our food, and drinks, never got a refill and had to wait for her to come back with the check. Which had the apps on it, so I had to bring it up and she very poorly acted like she did not notice.
She took the check back and brought it back with a $6 discount. Not even the cost of the apps (They were part of a combo). We ended up paying and leaving, which is what they hopped for. Thief's and terrible service. The whole time we were there the whole staff was hanging around the end of the bar or in the kitchen. There was more staff then patrons and they could not provide even mediocre service.
Average Applebee's experience for the most part, showed up with a party of 6, wait wasn't too long or anything but over half of us have ended up with Food poisoning
Edited to add. They gave me a link to get in contact with the franchise manager, but the franchise manager never got in contact. Clearly they have someone running damage control on Google maps and don't actually care about customer feedback
To the management! I would Never work there or for you!! Your staff which is mostly young college age, fear to make any changes to your corporate ways to accommodate your customers!! They tryed to squeeze six people into a booth when there was a corner table available! We asked if we could sit there as it would be way to crowded for us to eat in a booth and your staff was upset he would be yelled at for moving us there as he wasn't suppose to!! He did...and if he wouldn't have We would have left!! Just FYI..we will not return and we feel bad for your staff!!!! What happened to good customer service...or the customer is always right!
