First I want a to apologize for being loud in my conversation on phone. Service was great. Took my food to go. When was ready to eat my burger is raw in the middle.
Welcome the new drink to Sturgis Applebee's "Heaven's Delight's" that was created tonight by Courtney the bar tender off of a random w video we presented to her with a drink we wanted to try. She created a perfect balance lemon sour, apple crown, Carmel, and now we have Heaven's Delight. Along with the great service of our waitress,( I apologize I forgot you name if you see this please comment,and I will edit this review just for you) with our food and pleasant atmosphere, and again great service. Thank for tonight it was needed and appreciated.

My mom and I went out to eat here on halloween, Winston helped served us and was wonderful! Thank you Winston and to the other server I cannot remember her name. :) Made our day.
Got the cajun salmon meal and it was great. Drinks were good too. Server always checked in on us for refills. Great dinner experience.
They were really good before the pandemic, but ever since then their food is dry, often comes to the table cold, & not cooked correctly. And the drinks are weaker and often missing the fruit that used to come with them.
For just 1 instance of the last 5 times we’ve been there, my mom’s broccoli Alfredo was not creamy, but had a dried up sauce on it. Not powder, but like it had been sitting too long under the warmer & kind of congealed slightly. Her breadstick was cold & dry, along with my son’s fries. My son’s burger was not cooked correctly - still pink inside, which is a HUGE e.coli risk with ground meat, btw - he had to send it back for another. And my salmon, while flaky like it should be, was dry & almost a 1” wide sliver of what it used to be, not the 3” wide buttery wonderfulness I used to enjoy here. And I did not get any lemon slices to squirt over it like before, either. I could understand if they were packed, but they weren’t that busy. Place wasn’t even half full, since we came a little later from a busy day.
We’ve eaten here almost since they opened, so whatever has changed has NOT been for the better.
Mucho drinks were weaker than we’ve had at any other Applebees around the area, too. And not as much effort put into them to be tasty, either… Of the last 5 Bahama Mamas I’ve ordered since the pandemic has been over, only the 1st came with an orange slice & cherries. The 4th, just one cherry, the others with no fruit at all! They seem to put effort into only the new drinks that are seasonal anymore.
Our waitress was delightful, though.
This has been an example of just 1 visit of many, far more than 5. Most of the time, they’ve been the only dine-in open past 8/9 & still serving food on the south side of town. But there’s better places now, a little further north that are newly open. I don’t want to give more feedback as this encompasses a number of times eating there since the pandemic has been over, not just one time, so just improve it, back to the way it was!
drive up service was lovely and food is good, unfortunately though whoever was working the bar put vodka in my shirley temple and im extremely alcohol sensitive.
Automantically 5 star because ive been here multiple times and they never failed to make me smile. We get served immidiately when we sat. We didnt have to wait to be served at all. I love apple bees and the people who work here! Keep up the good work!! :)
