My steak was ordered medium rare. It came out well done. Another in our group had hair in the mash potatoes. Order a sandwich and waffle fries they charge 3.00 for waffle fries but you only get 5 fries. Double charged on things. Won’t be back.
If I can zero stars I will, My food was cold they didn’t tell us they went out of sauce that came with my food.
We went to Applebee's for an off-site lunch meeting. The server was quick, attentive, and efficient. We didn't wait very long at all for our food and it was yummy! The manager, Cheryl, was super friendly and checked on our table a couple of times, as well. Overall, great experience and we will definitely use Applebee's Athens for lunch meetings again!
I don't do a whole lot of sit down eating but i was having a lunch date with my wife and ive never been before. The waitress who i wish i could give direct credit to was absolutely amazing. She checked on us but wasn't overwhelming us. She was patient with my indecisiveness and all of our needs were met. The manager came out and spoke with us which i found pleasant as I've almost never had that happen dining in anywhere. My steak was cooked to perfection which was awesome, its usually overcooked. They have definitely earned my repeat business. Thank you for the pleasant first time experience.
The food was good. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was great. Will definitely be back.
We just sat in Applebees for an hour with less than acceptable service. Not only was the restraunt not that busy. We had to ask the hostess for our appetizer and when the manager brought it out, nothing was said about time. Then we continued to wait for our meal. Our waitress walked by us twice without acknowledging us, then brought us more waters. When asked about food, she said she would have them put our order in the front of the line. An hour after the fact. A manager did not come out and we still waited for our food with zero communication. Needless to say we did walk out and that is not something I would do!
Service was good, we had the burgers and they were very bland, no taste at all. Bacon wasn't cooked well and it was like rubber. The beer was cold tho!
Stopped by for a quick meal to take home. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. By the time I got home, my meal was still hot (15 minutes drive) and each bite was delicious from start to finish! Only reason I’m not giving them a 5 star review is because they forgot my silverware! Hahah!
