Food came out quick and was hot and delicious. Our server Gerson was attentive and friendly. The issue was the bathrooms were very dirty!! It was later in the day but still they looked as if no one cleans them, so I left off a couple of stars for that.
For about 5 years, my husband & I have been usuals at this Applebee’s because it’s close to our house. Food is good, drinks are good, and it’s affordable. We’ve had great experiences with the food and service up until last night. The waitress was rude and standoffish. It made our dinner really uncomfortable. I hate to give such a low rating because of one person but the experience was enough to say — I don’t think I’ll ever be back to this Applebee's ever again. I wish I knew her name.
Haven't been here in years. Was hungry so I stopped in for a beer and lunch
Ordered Mac and cheese with chicken. Horrible. All they did was throw this in a microwave. It's a frozen dinner. Yuck. The beer was refreshingly cold but a little flat. Never again!!! So ☹️
Very clean. Waitress was very professional and took great care of us. Will go back again.
My server, Eblin, at the north Bergen location was so attentive to us and had a good sense of humor which I appreciate! Overall great experience!

2yrs ago, this place was a 4rating. The food is still solid. But the service has changed. Went on a Wed. Totally empty, only 4 tables and 3 servers.
No greeter around but one of the servers did seat us right away. After being seated we waited a while before 1st contact. We asked for water and our drinks. No one behind the bar. Victoria came back and we ordered the apps and meal. We waited about 15min. And our apps came out. Still no water or beer. Finally half way thru apps we get drinks and 1 water. About 40 min into the dinner our food arrives. At which point we get to see Victoria again (haven’t seen since we ordered). I fake choking in order to get my water. She came by 5 min later to see if we needed anything and that’s it. Now we were ready to pay but no one was around. Literally all servers were by the soda station having a chit chat for god knows how long. We could have left and no one would notice. Look at my pics.
Maybe wed are treated like whatever days but went there for a quick bite and left aggravated!

Solid place for a super casual family dinner. The food is good enough, the wait staff is friendly. Never a wait longer than 10min. Overall nothing to write home about.
Very disappointed in apple bees in north bergen.i have been to this applebees alot of times in the past. This is the first bad experience I've had. my fiancé and I went to have dinner we arrived and waited at door for like 10 min. Before someone come over and seated us. After being seated we waited like 20 min. Before some came to take our order.after taking our drink order. We continue to wait for 47 min. Our appetizers got there and still no drinks .our food got there a few min. Later still no drinks and no waiter in site .we had a to ask another waiter for at least a soda to wash down our food and appetizers. Still no drink finally got out drinks when we were done with our meal. We order 2 Long Island ice tea that I was un drinkable. we have been a custom of apple bee for years I love the food but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. The service was not good at all. And the place was not even busy
This place can use better management, practically empty yet only one person tending the area and bar at same time. Drinks were not made with luv did not appear to be a trained bartender. The waitress tried her,best was friendly yet all over the place.she looked tired and voiced it. Portions are very small.
