I never really enjoyed Applebee's, but I found myself eating here about a week ago. I was already expecting the worst, and my expectations were definitely met. There was only one waitress working and many tables were filled with customers. Overall, the service was very slow, our drinks even took probably 10+ minutes to come out.
The food was just not good. My friend got the Alfredo with hot chicken tenders, and she said that they were soggy as if they had been microwaved, and overall the pasta and sauce were also disappointing. The photo on the menu deceived her, especially considering that dish is $17. With food this bad, you'd expect it to at least be cheap...
I am a vegetarian and am used to not having many options when going out, but almost everything on the menu at Applebee's has meat in it. There are salads, but they also have meat, and I would expect the vegetables to be soggy and old anyway, so I wouldn't bother ordering that. Overall do not recommend for vegetarians, or meat eaters for that matter. I don't think anyone should go here for food. Maybe drinks, but even then my drink was so sweet I couldn't even drink it.
With the value of what you're getting for the price, id recommend taking your hard earned money literally anywhere else where you can get more bang for your buck.
Additionally, the collages on the walls are an amusement to say the least. Walking in here feels like you're stepping back to the 90s, even with the music they play, for better or worse.
We heard about Applebees from the movie Couples Retreat. Always wanted to see what it was like and this was a huge disappointment. The server was efficient and attentive but the place had a very dive bar atmosphere. Plates and cutlery were not very clean and the food was very disappointing. We had the boneless wings to start and they had potential with the buffalo sauce but it was over salted. I requested a medium burger but the burgers were very dry and well done. Felt very dense and needed more sauce.
We had an amazing experience at Applebee’s! The Wonton Tacos were delicious – crispy shells filled with savory goodness, bursting with flavor in every bite. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was the perfect starter, creamy and rich, paired with warm, crunchy chips. The service was friendly and fast, making our afternoon even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!
Applebees has been doing much better my last two visits. Ryann and Jayde are two great waitresses. Souley the manager is wonderful as well.
Check out the Bourbon Street chicken and grilled shrimp. I substitute the mashed potatoes for the cheesy broccoli. It tastes delicious and was very filling for me that I only ate half.
My husband loves their lunch special pick 2 items for $6.99. He selected the Ceasars salad and chicken fajitas. He stated it was great too.
Staff was awesome, food was great, fried shrimp was fresh and hot, drinks was on point. Staff kept coming to check in on us. Manager Avery friendly and wanted to ensure visit was awesome. If in that area again do look to go back.
Went here with my grandpa for a quick dinner, we had a great meal and were satisfied with our pick. When we got back to the parking lot his car wouldn’t start, so we went back in to ask for help. The manager kindly and eagerly helped us restart our car by driving his car next to ours and connecting the jumper cables and starting the car all by himself. The whole time he was enthusiastic, understanding, and polite. We were incredibly grateful for his willingness and promptness to help us do something he was by no means obligated to do. We will be back here purely because of the great management that made our evening much easier and saved us time and money. 5 stars all around because of this experience and kindness of the manager.
They were obviously short-handed, but we had service with a smile! They food was all around great! There were 3 adults and 4 kids in our party. The place needs a good makeover. The guys waiting tables, 11-16-2024, handled the pressure of being shorthanded like pros!
I wanna start by saying I haven’t been to Applebees in decades. We decided to stop by for lunch by chance and surprisingly had a great experience. We were greeted by the bartender Kylie upon waking in, she immediately sat the couple in front of us and then us with a smile. Our server was Lucky, he was amazing. Our food and drinks came out fast and just as ordered. Honey pepper Mac was Kinda mid for $18. Not gonna lie menu could use some work. But Lucky juggled his tables well and was hilarious so it was balanced lol. The manager then came to check on us during our meal as well. Overall very attentive and pleasant staff which you can’t say about many places. The manager let me know about karaoke Wednesdays and invited us to come by. Great customer service and a great return experience. We will be back. ????
