Please note that my rating is based on a to go visit. Passing through to Arkansas and we made a pit stop for a quick bite. We ordered the appetizer sampler and hit the road. Initially we arrived and we were welcomed immediately by staff. It felt like we were regulars there and knew us for years. We had trouble ordering and paying online so they were more than happy to help us inside. Service was great, food was hot, fresh and out in a reasonable amount of time. The thing I appreciated the most is how they pay tribute to their first responders. 1st class all the way. Great to-go experience, definitely be back if in the area.
Our server Chris was wonderful! He was attentive and so friendly. He had a great attitude that really made our time there enjoyable. Just stopped for a quick late night bite to eat after attending a game. Appetizers were half off so I just got the buffalo boneless wings and the queso waffle fries. Food came out in a timely manner. Only downside was that it would was too cold to really sit and enjoy your food. It was already cool outside and even colder inside. That's really my only complaint. I know to bring a jacket next time.
Our waitress was amazing. I enjoyed the trivia that was on the tv. My kids and I had fun answering the questions. The food was lackluster. The boneless wings (chicken nuggets) were really mediocre. The fries were decent, and my daughter, who ordered the chicken Alfredo enjoyed her meal. Overall, the waitress being polite, kind, professional, and gracious is what put this place in the 4 star category.
Worst experience ever. went there on my break for lunch. They literally took the whole break and brought me my food out at the last minute table was very sticky. They just got their alcohol license back. My food was 2283. I gave them $40 waiter complained that they did not have change and she will have to go across the street for change, this was the most ghetto experience ever. The Applebee’s needs to be closed down for good. Also, the greeter was very rude old guy with a ponytail. His hair is gray super attitude type of guy. Worst experience ever. Don’t even waste your time.
This was a disaster from the very beginning. We had a large group (13) so I tried to call ahead. I was hung up on 3 times while navigating their maze of an automated system, and when I reached a person he tried calling who I needed.. across the restaurant... but couldn't help me when they didn't answer the phone (from inside the restaurant!!).
I stopped by today after work and they were very nice, so I had hope.
When we arrived, we waited 20 minutes while the table was set up, and the host updated us to let us know our server was running late. He didn't want to seat us until our server arrived, but we asked to be seated anyway so we had a place to sit. Our server was late for work and then was not told he was to take care of us, which extended our wait for service. We ordered an appetizer which came our with our meals, and our meals came out one. at. a. time. They came out so slowly (over the course of an hour) that some were finished eating while others still waited. Our server had to check more than once who still didn't have food and cross reference from his booklet to see who was forgotten.. When our meals arrived, they weren't hot, and my 4 cheese mac n cheese was missing... cheese. There was a little bit of cheese sauce in the bottom of the bowl, but even when I mixed it all in, I had many bare noodles. We complained, my cousin had her meal taken off her ticket, and my mac n cheese was taken back for more cheese. The manager stood in front of us wringing his hands on the towel he was holding and apologized by saying the mac n cheese doesn't come with cheese, only a cheese sauce. My cousin also was not offered anything else in place of the meal she sent back.
Nothing was organized.. none of the steaks came out together, the two riblet plates didn't come out together, my mac n cheese bowl came out room temp and missing cheese while my son's mac n cheese was forgotten, I could go on.
The best thing ordered tonight came from the bar, but even then, the garnish on my Bahama Mama was not good. It was not a fleshy part of the fruit and was very dry. Normally I'd squeeze it into my drink but there was nothing to squeeze.
Our server couldn't remember anything we asked him, and my cousin had to ask 3 times for her drink to go, which our server didn't know she asked for - even though he was talking to her when she asked!
We asked for to go containers and our server handed some to us through another table rather than bring them to us- very alike the way we had to pass food down to everyone as if we were an assembly line, because he didn't take the food to any one individual person.
Paying our tab was frustrating because he didn't have the orders organized and got himself confused, and then he stood over us and waited for our credit card receipts before leaving, barking to give him back his pen so someone else could use it. I hadn't yet signed my receipt and turned to find him waiting for me. I felt like, after that bad service, we were being rushed out. Rude!
All in all, my attempt to find a nice restaurant for my family, a place where we could each enjoy something to our liking, failed. Nobody really enjoyed their food or our service, and if we ever did return we would make sure to sit at individual tables. We received horrible service and our server still made almost $50 in gratuity from us. It was not earned, and if we had a say in the matter that gratuity would have been much less.
This was the worst and we will not return.
Was not happy with my experience here. I went in for a late night dinner with my husband. Was told that they was not serving alcohol. I had no problem with that because I was not drinking. Got our waters and lost our waitress. Waited 20 minutes and walked out.
Me and my grandparents came here on April 17, 2023. We got seated pretty quickly. It took a little bit for our waiter to come, but he (Carol) made sure we was going to be served our food quickly. Carol was very nice and speedy. It feels like he was the only one that actually was working. There were other workers that didn't really do anything, but just sitting at the stands. Carol was also running the bar area , while also serving everyone else. I decided to have the quesadilla burger and fries. The seasoning on the fries were really good. The quesadilla burger was just excellent from burger patty to the sauce.
I haven't been to Applebee's in years. My mom and I decided to give it a try.
We both had ribblets, onions rings and a side salad. The food was pretty good. What made our review 5 stars was because of our waitress, Heaven. She was nice, intentive, funny, and gave us suggestions what would should eat. We will eat here again just because of our waitress customer service.
