Server was great! Very happy she was kid friendly, she made an excellent impression with our granddaughter! We had Cheese sticks, appetizer sampler(we changed the spinach artichoke dip to queso),and lava cake dessert. Restaurant could have been tidier, and it was obvious they were short staffed….we did arrive after lunch and before dinner.
We are from out of town but use to live here. Our grown kids live in Anderson still. So for a bday celebration we brought our big kids here. Brittany, our server was amazing. Listen we had 4 kids there between 13 and a newly 21 year old. They can be a bit annoying but everyone was so great. A tall guy server showed incredible patience as I kept reminding my grown ones not to stand in the isle. After all the kids left we sat the bar and had just as great service. Whoever assembled this crew did great! Oh and my steaks came out perfect medium! Hard to do at places like this. Great experience!
We were there for almost 2 hours with the slowest service I’ve ever received. It took 30 minutes for my drink to come out and I ordered the endless wings but received the crunchy shrimp. I didn’t want to say anything at first so I took a bite of the shrimp thinking “I’ll just put up with this” but the shrimp had an AWFUL flavor. I then mentioned the miscommunication and the waitress said it was no problem. She kept leaving and coming back without taking the plates so we were left with lots of napkins and empty plates (my husband got the endless ribs. Once served without fries). And about 20-25 minutes after I mentioned the mix up, the manager came out with these wings… 4 wings…with again, NO FRIES. This is not my first time getting the endless special at THIS LOCATIONS Applebees, so I know fries are usually given with all the plates. I am very disappointed and I need to find a way to get a refund. Spent almost $60 in food, just to eat the fries and 4 wings they gave me.
Ordered the 2 for $25 skillet one chicken and bacon, one steak. Ordered one large blue moon and one large blue margarita served in the bowl style cup. Both came standard with mash potatoes and broccoli but broccoli was substituted for slaw.
What was supposed to be a blue moon tasted and smelled like Budweiser. The blue margarita was served in the same kind of glass as the beer and was anything but a margarita. After tasting my "margarita" I quickly decided against buying another drink. I should have cancelled our order and left but I figured I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Nearly an hour later the food came out. The 6 ounce steak was maybe a 4 ounce and the potatoes had some kind of butter on them that was not included on the menu. The chicken bacon came with one tiny piece of bacon and when I moved stuff around on the plate I found a mystery mushroom and under the potatoes was a cut of chicken that looked like it had been picked at. This store won't have my business again and after experiencing what can only be described as being served someone else leftovers I don't know that I will eat at any Applebee's again. There's just no words for the level of disappointment
Apps were decent, took long time for server check on us periodically, waited 8-10 mins to get a beer I ordered. We were there round 4 pm. Place is fine, but server lil slow. No major complaints. Will be back
Chaotic experience. Restaurant was super busy and we had to wait a good while. Food was pretty good and the drinks were excellent. Despite the chaos it was a fun time. Will go back.
Great food, got the 2 for $28. Spinach and artichoke dip was very good but I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. My wife really enjoyed the ribs. Khiaya, our sever was Great! Very attentive and quick, great personality and great service. 5 star visit, thank you!
Worst experience I've ever had at an Applebee's. First got my appetizer order wrong. Then we watched my wife's beer "die" at the end of the bar. They are obviously short-staffed but that's not my fault. Especially when I watch other people get better service than we have.
The only saving grace was the food was really good; couldn't have asked for anything better.
Also, note to this Applebee's, if you're short-staffed, you shouldn't be training on a busy Saturday.
