Stopped in for lunch while on vacation and the service was excellent and the food was great including believe the waitress name was Journey she was really nice and helpful
Food was good. The young lady that seats everyone was really nice and had a great attitude. She informed everyone at the door that the kitchen was backed up and that she could seat us but it would be a while before the food would come out. We were okay with that especially being that she told us up front. We were not in a hurry. But, the other party that was seated near us was extremely rude. We were a little shocked because she told them about the wait. They were rude to the waitress after they were sitting for about 10 minutes. She handled it well.
Needless to say, most of these waitresses and the hostess seem to be college students. The fact that grown customers come in and act like toddlers says a lot. They handled it well. Our food was good. I also like that the Madison County Sheriff and Madison Police were pretty active in the area. We felt safe.
We had the best server; Kris. She was very attentive and friendly. She put our order in immediately and we had our food in about 10 minutes. We didn’t have to ask for refills nor extra napkins. She is a great server!
The food was okay. I had 1/2 rack of ribs and my friend had the sirloin. The presentation of sirloin was pitiful as you can see from photo. The ribs and fries were pretty good. There room improvement in regards to food.
Welp it’s an Applebee’s, food was hot, fresh and up to standards. My waitress Sykeria R was pleasant, friendly and great. My only complaint about the visit was the overall condition of the facilities, mainly the men’s room and the carpeting throughout. The bathroom was in disarray and smelled badly. It was obvious no one had checked on it or cleaned it. The carpeting walk areas has seen better days. It was worn and quite dirty. Bits of paper, food particles, etc layed about the floor and in between the tables. I think management needed to step up on that. Not the best Applebee’s experience, food and service thumbs up, cleanliness thumbs down. Tried a dollarita but it came late and I think it had sat and just watered down with melted ice.
Niya our server was the absolute greatest, warm greeting and beautiful smile, she was very accommodating and patient with us. The adult drinks were perfect, great atmosphere. We will be back more often…
We had dirty knives brought to us. When we called our waitress over she didn't apologize for it just nonchalant said well yall want plastic silverware? Then while eating noticed a nasty window ledge with a finger nail clipping. Then when we paid she didn't bring back the right change. The while experience was very disappointing. Will not be going back and would tell anyone not to bother!
The service was good considering the waitress seemed new. She was friendly and attentive to my needs. Although the dinner was tasty and the half priced happy hour appetizers were a nice touch, the steak was a little on the tough side, or I would've given them the five stars.
Service was decent but the food left a lot to be desired. Our spinach and artichoke dip looked like baby vomit, definitely not worth $10. Our entrees were sub-par and lacked flavor, and for some reason my mashed potatoes came out on a sizzler pan and were fried at the bottom? The constant stream of country music over the radio was also very obnoxious and loud.
