Directly across from the wonderful Hotel that I chose for my night's stay.
Clean and busy as usual.
Spencer was my server and he was definitely in his element.
Very knowledgeable about menu and served everything up with a smile.
I had the sirloin (med) with fries and broccoli.
The steak was cooked accordingly and the sides were tasty as well.
Spencer bagged my other take out and had it on the table as I was finishing my delicious meal.
The entire experience with Applebee's was delightful.
Keep it up guys; great job!
These guys don't know how to service anyone.
I walk in after a long day's travel, I've been driving for 12 hours, so it didn't have the time to order anything online I just walked in and said I wanted to go order because I had to get back to the hotel where my traveling companions were staying.
My mother and I, after placing our order, had probably waited in the lobby for roughly 20 to 30 minutes before our food was even brought out. In the meantime, I watched the employees standing outside talking and joking with each other smoking cigarettes and then leaning over another car just having a casual chat. This is probably the reason why I was waiting so long. And it's not like a ordered anything that has a long prep time.
I ordered tomato basil soup, mozzarella sticks, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese, and a few drinks. All of which simply need to be heated up no more than a boil, this should only take 10 minutes max.
When we finally got our food it was missing several items. It was missing the milk I had requested, it was missing the mozzarella sticks. And I had order the side of mac and cheese which I told them specifically to remove the bacon or I would not eat it because I am vegetarian. I definitely inspected every piece of food before leaving. The macaroni had bacon which I was pissed off about. I brought all of these concerns to their attention and another 5 minutes goes by and I am brought my milks and penne pasta with sprinkles of cheddar on top (not even melted yet, this is supposed to be a four cheese macaroni). When I turned around after inspecting everything to get my card I exclaimed it out loud 'where is my card?' and my server walks back with the card and another receipt in her hand along with the mozzarella sticks and she said that she needed the card to be able to charge me for the mozzarella sticks. I was double charged for the mozzarella sticks so I told them I wanted to refund and the server, Allie M, just walked away from me without even saying a word.. and her manager stepped up. He had an attitude too. He was basically ready to yell at me and he told me 'what do you want? Just tell me what you want'
I told him that I just want a refund for my double charge and then I will leave, so he offered me cash or refund to the card and I took up the cash because I don't trust them to give me a refund to the card after the attitude that I had been getting from these people. I never got the chance to sign the receipt or give them a tip, I was absolutely going to give them a 0% tip and we'll see very soon if they decide to write in their own tip.
Admittedly I was grumpy because I was traveling for so long, but that's something a manager should be able to handle. A little bit of smiles and courtesy would have been nice but he was basically ready to tell me to get out after I just paid $54.
Food and service is always good. Server was friendly, and attentive taking the time to make sure what you want on your order. The pub pretzts are crispy outside and soft and chewy in the center. The two handle 28oz beer is awesome and very cold. Great after a hard day of work. Great place to unwind with I inviting atmosphere.
Just learning to be a fan. Walked in tonight about 90 mins before closing. Mandie P took amazing care of me, even though I was just a to-go and she had a very large party walk in. Shrimp and parmesan sirloin. Taste was amazing, steak a little tough but it's a sirloin and to go. Beer cheese pretzels were amazing. Fantastic manager spoke to me while I was waiting. Great experience !
The store was very clean and service was good, but their is not as many choices of side items or menu items as before. My steak was good but my shrimp was rubbery and just room temperature. So that's why I rated it overall 3.
Had a wonderful experience at Applebees tonight-huge turn around from my last visit to one probably 10 years ago. Our appetizer was hot and delicious (pretzel and cheese). My husbands hamburger and fries were very good, and my Asian salad was great! Definitely will return again, especially to this location. Service was a tad slow, but very friendly.
I joined the family for dinner to enjoy the Dodgers game and catch some football. I brought my iPad along to be considerate of others watching something different. The server was absolutely fantastic—checking on us regularly and ensuring we had everything we needed! Hailee P is great!
However, my experience took a downturn when the manager (Cole) rudely changed the channel of the dodgers game on us without any explanation. It was disappointing considering how great our server was! Overall, while I appreciate the excellent service from our waiter, this encounter with management affected my overall score. Have any of you had similar experiences? Ps … I couldn’t even leave a survey on the restaurant’s website!
I come here all the time and the food is amazing! Great service. Everyone is polite and I get my food quickly. I’ll be back again
