Waiter was abrupt, placed the orders with the wrong person (more than once, we got the all you can eat promotion)... when delivering the "refills" there were no fries (as offered in the promotion) seldom checked in on us (party of two). Was argumentative when being given the appetizer code at bill time.
Went for dinner with my brother and two sisters after attending a Concert at a Theater close by. Victor, our waiter, was helpful. We chose two of their 2 for 1 Specials and were satisfied. The sizzling dessert was surprisingly good! May go back after years of ignoring the Restaurant.
My family and I were in town for the weekend and decided to eat here. The atmosphere was calm and inviting. The food was good but the server Constance M was phenomenal. She was pleasant, kind and very knowledgeable. She was fast and had the best attitude that I have encountered in a while. This was a good choice and if I am in the area again in the future I will definitely return…. Thank you Constance M for an awesome experience…..
My son and I went to Applebee's tonite and we both enjoyed our meals. I had the three cheese chicken penne. It was quite good. Our server Kyle was very nice and attentive. Overall we had a good experience, the 4 stars is because, the window that we sat beside was dirty. It definitely needed cleaned.
This place was horribly understaffed, and they had the bartender waiting tables, which means it took nearly 20 minutes just to get beverages. The manager on duty did nothing to help his struggling staff, and rather than jump in and grab our drink orders, he just said, "She's busy, so it may take a while." Our waitress/bartender was PHENOMENAL and did everything she could to manage a bar AND wait an entire section, but management is an absolute FAIL for not helping out his team. The food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was pretty abysmal. The ONLY redeeming thing about this was our waitress - absolutely working her butt off with no support (and hustling harder than anyone else in there.)
Seriously, someone needs to "undercover boss" this location to see how it's being run because I would never go back or recommend it.
My family and I loved this location! We were visiting Lancaster to go to Sight and Sound. Our show ended late, as we had the 7pm one. Not many places are open at that hour and we decided to make the jump to go to Applebees that was thankfully still open; and it was something familiar to us. We had a lovely server named Mel, she was very understanding, patient and friendly (as someone on the more introverted side this was a relief). She made the process of ordering food very easy, was willing to explain on confusions, and also asked questions to make sure we got what we wanted. Would come to this location again!
My husband and I was there in Friday after having a nice evening. Our waiter Victor was amazing he was on pot with our needs and wants. My husband and I ordered two salads along with our untray unfortunately my husband salad had a hair in the salad. My advice to all worker who is working with food service must wear a hair net and wear gloves to avoid things like this to happen again. The manager was kind and helpful to deduct from our bill. Hopefully he could be more aware of his coworkers of taken precautions when dealing with the public and food.
I’m posting this review strictly pertaining to my food and my server. All of our food was cooked to perfection and served hot! Thank you so much for your fast service. Constance was my server and she was absolutely amazing. I thank her for her good manners, kindness, hospitality, fast efficient service, and most of all her communication. Every time she passed our table she made sure we were alright and didn’t need anything. She seriously deserves more recognition than this review could give.
