The food is always phenomenal. I don't know what the cooks are doing back there but they can keep it up!
The service is really slow. You can be 1 of 2 tables in the whole restaurant and it seems to take forever for them to do anything. 15 minutes to come to your table to take drink order, another 20 minutes to get the drinks and then 45 minutes to get your food. I'm not sure what wait staff is doing behind the scenes but it's a little mind boggling that it would take that long. And if you ask for your check or to go drinks? Well, Good luck.
This isn't a one time occurrence. I've been on 3 separate occasions and it's been the same.
But the food is good so I'll keep going.
So i added one more star ONLY because the manager came back after my friend complained again about the second round of food that came out. I couldn't eat anything because my appetite was ruined. Here are some more pictures..
We stopped in at 1 pm for lunch. There was no one at the front, nor at the bar but after a few minutes someone came up to seat us. Our drink order was taken. We opted to get something off the 2 for $25 menu, starting with the spinach artichoke dip. It was good. It would have been better if it were warmer. We were hungry though. A few more filtered in the door and were seated, their orders taken and well, yes, their food delivered. I ordered the fiesta lime chicken and the hubby had the cheeseburger.
The chicken was served on a bed of tortilla strips. Minus the grease they would have been good. There was a slight hint of lime on the grilled chicken but the Mexi-ranch tasted more like a thousand island and was under the layer of cheese. The Spanish rice was dry and a tad crunchy (overcooked). The pico appeared to be fresh and had tiny bits of fresh jalapeno. The ketchup? I wanted to try the hubby's French fries. Actually, the chicken made this way would have been much better served without the tortilla strips and with a plate of fresh pineapple with other fresh fruit. Just my thought.
My hubby had the cheeseburger and fries (extra crispy). The fries were crispy as he likes them and the serving was so large he couldn't finish them all. He said the cheeseburger was tasty (and juicy) and he'd definitely order that choice again.
On the service, everyone was nice and polite. I don't know what the delay was with our meals and no one told us. We weren't on a time restraint so that was okay but had we been on a lunch hour, we would have been late back to work. Again, this though I think was the kitchen.
Waited for 15 minutes before even being aknowledged and they werent busy, then they forgot our mozzarella sticks, so we had to drive all the way back to get them. My fries looked like they had been sitting out for 2 days and were cold with no seasoning which is the ONLY A reason I like their fries and my burger was two patties that looked like they had be torn apart and was cold and nasty and didn't look fresh. I hate this Applebee's and the only reason that I even went here was for the convenience. Don't waste your money!
We had a Ok visit. The waitstaff very polite and attentive. The food however was ok at best. The resturant obviously needs to focus on quality of the food. My steak was not good. It was cooked how I ordered it but way to much pepper. My mashed potatoes tasteless and dry. Another person in my party of only 5 ordered her steak well done. It was burnt and dry. She didn't want to send it back because of the wait. Probably will not go back on a Saturday evening.
Food has very little seasoning, however chicken is always well seasoned. Most recently I got the chicken broccoli Alfredo and it was good, but the noodles didn't have very much sauce or seasoning, while the chicken was 10/10.
My brother got the four cheese Mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders, which did not taste cheesy at all but was kind of watery and just really sweet pasta. He couldn't finish it. The tenders were delicious though.
Overally customer service is always great, waitresses are very nice.
Terrible wings no sauce supposed to be buffalo kids ordered sweet tea got unsweetened both my kids orders were wrong wife ordered broccoli and got potatoes TERRIBLE!!!! Ribs were so dry they were like eating beef jerky!!! At this price point there are way better options!!
They almost always mess up my food. This time we got a waitress who was stereotyping us, we asked about a price and she immediately brought the manager over. We weren't rude or defiant just simply asking, there was no need. The manager was very polite but the lady following her was hostile when I asked her why the waitress print out 6 different tickets for 4 people and one was a child. All the waitress had to do was ask if it was all together or separate. So I ended up paying 5 different tickets for 1 order. While I am still eating she tries to get me to give her my card gets to pay. They closed in 3 hours and they were no where near packed, so why make your customers feel rushed.
