Waitress was great. Efficient. Was there around 5ish. Was sat quickly. They were running holidays drink special so naturally had to try them. Delicious. Then I ordered to special an appetizer, and 2 main courses for 30.00. Great deal! We got the chicken fettuccine, and rack of ribs with fries. They waitress even drew a little birthday cake and balloons on the bill for my bday! ????
Great food! Great atmosphere! Not so much on the service this time. The server could not recall items we requested. He kept asking us to repeat our requests. Had I thought about it, I would have suggested that he keep a small note pad with him for quick reminder notes. This helped me in my past waitress jobs. He was pleasant though, and that did help some. Overall, it was a good experience.
Edit: Applebee's made this right. They contacted me and provided me with a coupon. So I went back and ordered the neighborhood nachos again. Although I don't have a picture, they were perfect! Thank you Applebee's for being awesome!
This is what you get from Middletown Applebee's for $12.99. No sour cream, no guacamole. I called and they wanted me to drive back across town for the items missing but refused to make me a new order. This will be my last time ordering there.
Walked out after we were ignored.
Party of 6, half past 5 on a Tuesday. Got seated, and did not get spoken to again. A larger party was seated after us, and was greeted and started by the waiter before we were. That was our sign to leave. 20 minute wait total.
Our corner table was very drafty and cold.
The food was amazing!! The bourbon street steak is very delicious if you’re looking for a good steak meal! And I never eat mashed potatoes without gravy but the garlic mashed potatoes are very flavorful you don’t need any. It was very cold inside but we was sitting right next to all the windows and a door.
The service from the waitress was great....but the food was a different story. Steak so raw inside I couldn't eat it , dry, powdery "garlic" mashed potatoes that were NOT garlicky, broccoli with no flavor. I was not in the mood to complain...just took the stuff home and cooked it. By the way, those shiny take home containers melt in the microwave.
Rude staff when alI ordered and waited over 15 min for carside. Then when I walked in the host was not sure if anyone was working. Then when I asked a waiter he went off about no one working it and only 4 people and left me there. Another waitress walked by me twice and finally I asked her for the Manger. Who comes out and goes to another man first. Then brings me my food now almost 30 min since I arrived and no real apology until I said my food is most likely cold and she gave a weak sorry. I spent over $40 with tip and got cold food, rude service, and no compensation for my time waiting as had I known I would have ordered elsewhere and will not be back here.
I've given this place another shot. I haven't eaten here for years. I have been twice this year and can tell there has definitely been improvement. The food and service was excellent. My order looked and tasted great, and I didn't wait long for anything. The waitress and cook were on point last night. Thank you. I will be eating here again. Keep up the great work!
