The Chef at the Farmville, Va. AppleBees comes out of the kitchen and meets with the customers. Adam is a very nice, very friendly man and will talk to you about any concerns. The Classic Burger is excellent and as of now, I totally choose to eat a burger here over any fast food place. Its cooked fresh, and to your order not like the quick and uncaring way its prepared in those joints. I clean my plate every time I have been at this AppleBees now. I hope this continues.
I was apart of a group order. Order was completed on time. I had the neighborhood chicken nachos. I ordered sour cream as well. We are about 5 minutes away from the Applebees. When I got my food, the queso was ice cold, never warmed. There was no sour cream, the chicken was lukewarm. The shredded cheese was on the nachos, not melted. Who gets nachos cold?
My Birthday Dinner of choice, Bourbon street chicken an shrimp, mashed potatoes, Ceasars salad, onion rings an dessert, brownie an ice cream. Very nice Dinner, food was sizzling hot, salad very fresh an dessert was great. Our server was awesome, I was given coupons for the next trip, but on the back its for different locations, very odd. ????
Food service is a little slow but the waiter is very nice but needs more help/training for handling large parties. No cell phone reception in their restaurant but they do have free wifi. Overall, food was good, just kind of slow.
There were 7 in our party. Each of us enjoyed our meal, but the chips for the spinach appetizer were so very salty, my sister in law couldn't even eat them and that's all she had ordered.
The manager did accept a gift certificate that was quite old, so that was nice. Our waitress was very proficient and helpful.
Overall it was a nice experience.
My first time visiting this particular Applebee's. I was very, very impressed with the young hostess and waiter Spence, in that each waiter and two hostesses greeted every customer as they entered. I observed wait staff frequency in checking on their tables with customer friendly smiles. I will definitely dine there again regardless of it being 38 miles from home.
Very well teamwork environment. Waitress are very friendly, and hands down helpful to be everyone’s satisfaction.
Cooks work hard to have the food come as it comes. As they say made with love.
Managers are very sociable, put their whole hearts into their work.
Haven't been to an Applebee's in years. Decided to go tonight for dinner. It was very good, with great service and friendly server. Our food was great.. Definitely will be back.
