While walking around midtown Manhattan today, dining companion and I chose to dine at Applebee’s because the menu offers a decent variety of items and a good drink selection.
For my entree I ordered the shrimp bowl and my companion ordered the chicken texmex bowl. I was surprised by the level of spice/heat, as I must’ve missed it in the menu’s description. The heat was welcome because it provided a balance to the incessant cold wind coming from the ceiling fans on the second floor. I asked if the fan above our table could be adjusted. I could tell by the server’s response that this is a common request. According to the server, the building is old and all of the fans are controlled by a single switch. I asked if there was a warmer spot in the room and there didn’t appear to be, as the fans basically covered the entire upstairs dining area.
Anyway, enough about ceiling fans. The food and drinks were good and our server was nice. There was an issue when I attempted to pay by scanning the QR code on the receipt. The site kept loading an error message avoid the check still being in use. I was finally able to pay the old fashioned way by handing our server my credit card.
So...we saw Stephen Colbert tonight and stopped in at the Applebee's down the block on Broadway. It was just like coming home! Seriously from the moment we walked in it was friendly and filled with personality. The Perfect Margarita was...perfect...and we had some apps to fill us up! Robert was our server and he made sure we got just what we wanted. He noted the Chicken quesadilla was his fave too. We'll be back again and soon I imagine. And maybe Stephen will come with.
Came here for the $1 drinks but here in NYC it’s $4 which is still okay because drinks around this can be anywhere from $13 to $26. Nahid was our server and he was such a delight and very attentive. Brought us more drinks before we asked for another round and was very patient as we took our time to order. The food was pretty good and everything came out quickly. Haven’t been to Applebees in a couple years and this was a great time!
I recently visited Applebee's and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, perfect for a casual meal. Eric was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the appetizers and the main course was cooked to perfection. Overall, the service was top-notch, and I left feeling very satisfied. I highly recommend Applebee's for anyone looking for a great dining experience!
We was greeted with by our server Adrianna right away , she gave great vibes, great smiles as well. Was excellent when it came to asking questions about the menu. Also asked us if we had any allergies, she was very delightful with us. Great service, food and drinks can’t wait to come back .

I recently dined and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of perfect. Erick, our host, made the evening truly special with his warm hospitality and impeccable attention to detail.
The food was outstanding, with flavors that were rich, fresh, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Erick went above and beyond to ensure our table was comfortable and that every request was met with a smile.
If you’re looking for a place where excellent service and exquisite cuisine come together, this is it! Huge thanks to Erick and the entire team for making our visit unforgettable.
A lovely chain restaurant with lots of choice at a reasonable price. Great service from our host Sophia, very friendly and helpful.
Got the classic cheeseburger and fries, great portion.

My wife of 3 years, who runs an art gallery in tribeca (we are very wealthy) literally fainted at the table it was so good and I actually have not seen her since so please let me know if you’ve seen her
A few highlights:
1. The spooky Modelos were as scary as they were refreshing
2. The triple oreo smackdown was delicious but also did send my wife to the hospital
