No. Just no. It seemed like the manager left a new server to crash and burn. I've worked this industry and have never seen a new server left unsupported that way. It's the restaurant that suffers when you make a point like that. We asked for the manager, twice (server, doing her best, thought they had come by). He told us he was stuck in the back. Everything was comped, without asking, but damage was done.
We got one of our drinks (of four ordered, two adults + two children) after 30 minutes, and it was the wrong drink. No silverware (asked twice, got one fork, no napkins). Got the second adult drink after another 5 minutes, also the wrong drink. Part of the adult food arrived 35-40 minutes in. Food for children was a painful 50 minutes after ordering.
The church rush was over and there were 4 other customers in the restaurant by the time we got everything. I've included a photo of the restaurant.
Exiting bartender very rude and couldn't care less for customers. Simple requests were made very difficult and server was literally all over the place, and unable to focus on anything accurately. Get more help or hire better. Also, was not offered a perfect and did not receive free mozz sticks....please follow through with advertising if you're going to offer it.
Plates were messy from kitchen. Trash under most tables around us without guest. Had big pile of sauce on wing plate, so big I thought it was a wing but found out it wasn't. Windows were dirty. Fiesta chicken (usually my fav.) Was over baked. Service from the waiter was good.
Food is decent but typically takes a long time to arrive at the table. Most servers do not show much personality, don't appear happy, nice or inviting. Took ten minutes just to get a glass of water and it was brought by an attentive host not our server. One meal that I ordered came with the wrong side even though it was ordered exactly as stated on the menu with no changes requested. Best thing to get here is a Long Island Iced tea so that you can forget about this experience.
We visited Monday 10/21/24 had the chicken sandwiches with bacon on the 2 for $22 with salads.The salads were good but the ranch dressing was a little thin and runny. The chicken sandwiches were dry and didn't have much flavor. Wendy's and McDonald's taste way better. We tried to get the free buffalo wings but was told by the waitress that is was only free when you make a wing purchase but that's not what it says on the menu or website it says free wings on Monday when a NFL team gets a pick 6 win a purchase of $10 or more. We also tried to do a survey but it kept saying the code was incorrect. This service and food quality is unacceptable for a establishment like Applebee's!
The only thing that made me rate 4 star's was the temperature of the restaurant. I ordered wings with fries and some beer. I was literally sweating and the wings weren’t even spicy. I had to leave early because of how uncomfortable I was but otherwise I loved the food and service. I’ll be coming back.
I'm too old to make it for half price apps after 9 but seems like a great deal. Glad the 2 for 20 is back. I wish the endless boneless wings were bigger portioned. It seems counter productive to make more trips because the lack of wings per plate. But all in all they've got a great menu to pick from on any day
Worst experience ever, took 5 minutes to get seated, got food with no silverware, was waiting to ask but no one around for 10 whole minutes. Took matters into my own hands and peeked in the kitchen, they tell me to screw off. I sent a complaint but they have not replied in a week. No refund, nothing. Applebees is a falling chain and I get disappointed every time I go. Never going again.
