I ordered from Applebee’s through Grubhub, and while I usually enjoy their food, this experience left a lot to be desired. I double-checked my order in the app to make sure everything was correct, but when the food arrived, some key items were missing, and they didn’t even show up on the receipt. These missing items were part of the restaurant’s advertised offer.
First, they didn’t send the lemonade I ordered. It’s a small thing, but it was part of the meal I was expecting. Second, they didn’t include the coleslaw, which was supposed to be one of the two sides offered with the meal. These omissions really frustrated me since they were part of the deal, and I had chosen them specifically.
As for the chicken breast, I have to admit it had good flavor, but it was as if the entire pepper shaker was accidentally dumped on it. It was so over-seasoned that my mouth was still burning long after I finished eating. The seasoning was just way too overpowering and made it hard to enjoy.
The rest of the order was fine—it arrived as expected and tasted good. But between the missing items and the overly spiced chicken, this was not the experience I was hoping for. While I’ve had better meals from Applebee’s before, this one missed the mark and left me disappointed.
The service here was decent. We ordered nachos, the price was $14.99. It was a tray of thin greasy tortilla chips covered with watered down queso, watered down guacamole, and sour cream. It was supposed to have chicken on it, I guess there as a few pieces of what seemed to be chicken. This was a horrible representation of a plate of nachos. Especially for this price. The quality of what this restaurant calls food isn’t something I’ll ever return for. Not this location or any other.
This is basically typical bar food fair. Applebee's had a dinner special each day of the week, since this was a Friday we had fish and chips and, shrimp and chips. The bartender was very overworked for her section, and very slow to respond to things. She was very friendly and we could see she was constantly tasked with something so it's not a flaw against her it's a flog against the store for overworking that employee. The food was okay regular bar stuff I would order that again definitely I had the fish and I enjoyed it. But the bar had fruit flies everywhere. I mean literally you're swatting flies away and from that alone I don't trust it very much. We didn't get sick or anything, but we definitely were turned off by the constant fruit flies in the bar.
Extremely hit or miss at this location. My family has been coming here for years because, when it's good it's damn good. However, when it's bad, it almost makes you consider never returning. Every so often they employ people that take pride in their jobs and the location, then other times, it's like they just hired an entirely new staff and everything goes south. I wish the people that oversee this location would get it together. This location could be very successful if so.
We stopped by on our way home for an early dinner. The restaurant was short staffed and service took a bit longer than expected. No problem we understood and were cool with the wait. The food and drinks were hit and miss. The bartender did not know what a skinny margarita was and we decided to pass. The long Island was ok, but and took them a bit to make it, by the time we got it we almost did not want it. The chicken in the salad and the pasta were overcooked and dry. The steak and burger were okay and had to wait for onion rings since they forgot the request. Food was not worth the price, but we were hungry and was the closest place to stop by.
Our server was nice and friendly and she was the host and the only server at the time. She did great handling the other 4 tables.
Wife and I came in and enjoyed a drink and dinner at the bar. PT was the bartender and she is very good at customer service.
Food and drinks were great.
We had been seeing the $9,99 burger meal special advertised on TV and feeling in the mood, hubby and I decided to use an old Applebee's gift card. The server was friendly and willing to change the cheese to cheddar and bring barbecue sauce. It was more of a smashburger, but that was OK. The cheeseburger was messy and filling, especially with the generous portion of fries. Though the server forgot the hot sauce for hubby, the barbecue sauce satisfied him and added flavor to his fries.
Best kept secret. We love the service provided by Kat she was a one woman show. Absolutely the best service provided ever, definitely look forward to being a regular. Our new place for a quick escape ❤️
