Ordered 2 for 25, blonde dessert and a drink last night. I just got off work and it was late, I have an early morning back at work Sunday or I would have driven right back to this place.
I ordered steak, garlic mash, cilantro rice, the appetizer of spinach dip and chips and the second meal (2 for 25) chicken pasta.
The steak , blondie brownie, and breadstick for pasta was hard as a rock. Zero flavor on the mash and had a weird slimy texture as well as the spinach dip.
The steak was well done but I imagine since my pickup time was was 9:16pm ( I was already inside waiting) they didn't bring my food until 9:50pm. She said it really wasn't ready yet. OK fair enough I ordered at 8:50pm but let's get home to eat I'm hungry.
I started just chucking the spin dip, the rice ( tasted burnt no cilantro flavor at all) The dessert into the trash. Added some spices from home and tried making the steak more moist to eat.
The chicken on the pasta was the only edible thing, the pasta was so dried out with minimal sauce it was laughable. I saved it for the chicken to eat on lunch today but I did take a pic to see it's appearance today. The breadstick was still hard so I microwaved it with a paper towel. The spin dip and rice I never even ate and the last straw is the packs of silverware. I was at least happy I got 3 packs because I use them for work lunches but there was a sticky brown substance all over them. I smelled it and it smelled rancid so I threw all these away. Idk what it was maybe juice from fish or chicken dripped? Anyway I did not reach out to the store at all but I just want to make note that I will never be back to an Applebee's again with the quality of food that is being served.
It's funny to me because I'm not even a picky person but after telling my coworkers my experience they said I should say something so here I am. $50 bux on this and most is inedible.
Just rode past their in car wasent inside. I would never pay to eat their way too expensive. I got free thanksgiving ????..... Dinner at the church
My bartender Jamie was a sweetheart and makes a good Long Island Tea. I ordered the Chicken Wonton Tacos and Spinach Dip which was half off. Both were delicious. Met some really nice people at the bar as well. Janet and Charlie! See you soon!
Constant wrong orders. I have brought the issues to management and nothing ever changes. We give them a try again & boom another wrong order. Then they want to tell me to check my food before we leave the restaurant. ???? Umm, that’s not my job. I don’t get paid to do that…so ridiculous. Oh & then they want to offer you a gift card but not refund your money. I don’t even want anything except for my order to be CORRECT!! Definitely go somewhere else if you want your order correct.
My Boyfriend & I came here for a nice dinner date. We had a great time, the food was Amazingly tasteful. Our waitress Morgan, was so Awesome. She was very informative, sweet and bubbly. If you want the best service hands down request her. You'll thank me later.
we got together to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and the waitresses and manager went out of their way to make her feel special. The food was delicious and we had too much to eat. Thank you for the good time. First drink as 21.
I made a specific effort to try this specific restaurant as I was not impressed with the one on 4th St in St Petersburg.This Applebee's (in Pinellas Park) has excellent food. The steak was cooked perfectly to order. It was delicious and quite tender. I consider it much cleaner than the one on 4th street and a MUCH better staff management than the Bradenton.
Overall, I felt much more comfortable and enjoyed my meal at this Applebee's restaurant and do recommend above others recently.
I will be returning to this restaurant, bypassing closer ones. Good Job.
Well, Applebee's is Applebee's, right? On the past I've had good & not so good experiences at various locations all over the USA.
This venture was on Veteran's Day, so my meal was complimentary. My steak was cooked to perfection, as were the sides. My Server was top shelf, flawless to say the least. AND I enjoyed dining outdoors on a beautiful day.
Applebee's has been a good fallback for me over the years and this particular visit there (Park Ave) was a very pleasurable experience. ???????????? 5⭐
