My first time in a very long time coming to Applebee's. The food and the service was second to none. That chef they had cooking back there today was on point. This was by far one of the most flavorful burgers I have had in a very long time. Got the Whisky Smoked Burger i think it was? Everything about this burger was firing on all cylinders. Soon as I bit into it the juices just flowed out (flavor, not grease!) and the crispy onions they put on this beast just make it amazing. I don't know why I haven't been to an Applebee's in forever.. but I am making this the one I will always go to from here on out. My waitress was very attentive to our table as well, can't stress it enough: couldn't have had a better lunch today.
My favorite time of the year at Applebees is when they have endless boneless wings. Unfortunately, it is no where near that time of year. However, we still had exceptional service and a great dining experience. The service was fast, and the environment was very relaxed for a Sunday evening. They have different happy hour time throughout the week for 1/2 price appetizers, which makes it a great value. We ordered the boneless wings (plain) with a side of BBQ, spinach and spinach artichoke dip (our favorite!) and the chicken finger plate with fries. We stopped here after the Pirate game and were seated right away. Our waitress was extremely nice and kept our drinks filled during our meal. The food was very hot when it came out, and it was delicious. I highly recommend the chips and spinach artichoke dip. It is one of my favorite chips and dip and we order it every time we go to an Applebees. They have a good selection of food. It is a great place to go late in the evening to get a quick bite to share such as an appetizer. At this location, they have local sport photos on the wall which makes it more like a hometown restaurant instead of a chain.
We went tonight as a family, we took my parents with us as well. We got there and got our name put in and got texted when our table was ready. We loved that ! We were able to sit in our car and wait till our table was ready. Our waitress was amazing ! The food was exactly what we ordered and was delicious ! The half off apps and drinks was great as well. Definitely going back, we had a great time !
My mom and I went there today everything was great! We did the survey at the end and accidentally hit extremely dissatisfied. BIG mistake! We felt so bad. We were so happy with everything the food was great and our server Corey was the most attentive and awesome server! We will definitely be back! So sorry corey!
Such great service the young lady at the bar counter was very polite and very attentive to my service, the food wow amazing this apple b is a must if your in town.
Came for fish tacos which are no longer on the menu.???? Opted for ribs (comes with two classic sides) instead. Always a good choice. My daughter got the Prim Rib Dipper comes with fries. She said it was good but not like WOW good. Tried two of the $5 Saintly Sips. Tipsy Leprechaun in a green and Pot I'm Gold Colada in yellow. My preference was the Tipsy Leprechaun. Yummy.
I don't prefer Applebee's food usually, but the menu has changed quite a bit recently. For the better, in my opinion. The last 2 times we went, the food was very good and a good value. I used to cringe if someone chose this place to eat over other options, but I've changed my mind.
Ok so I am one of those people that will take what I get and not complain. But last night was one of the worst dinning in experiences ever. And this is the 3rd time going to this Applebee's and EVERYTIME it's been horrible! We get there at 6:40 no wait, (5 in our family, 2 adults 3 kids) seated right away. Cool. Waitress comes up we order drinks and appetizer. Ask for time to figure out what we want. The waitress was nice and looked super busy so I felt bad and kept making excuses for her because I know what it's like to be in that situation. Well we order 3 kids meals and 2 entrees. We wait close to an hour for our food, again I make excuses for them that they r super busy (even though we had gotten seated right away) ONLY ME AND MY HUSBANDS FOOD COME! I tell the runner "hey we r missing 3 kids meals" he says "o yea they r back there they will be right out." 5-10mins goes by. My waitress comes and says "did the kids have food" ummmm yea?? They should, dude said it would be right out. She said "I'm so sorry I put their meals in first so they would be out here first" (doesn't make sense since ur kid meals are literally Kraft Mac and cheese chicken tenders and a frozen pizza but ok?) 10 more mins, my kids plates come out, no sides. I say to this new runner "hey they are supposed to have yogurt and applesauce." That girl walks away, waitress comes back I say hey we r missing their sides which she replies " I'm sorry I just went back there and no one is paying attention back there or even running anything " (shouldn't make excuses and blame others but again...ok) So then she comes back with 2 yogurts.....no applesauce, my one son hates yogurt. But she had walked away before we even realized what happened, so I had to tell my son I'll get him applesauce when we get home just to get him to hurry up and eat because we were so ready to be out of there. When she comes back I ask for 2 box's , 15 mins later she comes back with no box's and ask me if I want a box...I look at her nicely like we didn't just have this Convo and said "yes two please." (At this point it's comical ) She comes back with four. Ok cool. Whatever. I told my husband just to take the kids to the car while I pay. He goes out. I try to use their tablet to pay, I had a $25 gift card (whole receipt comes out to about $80) I try to pay it wouldn't let me, I back out and now it won't even let me hit the pay button. I ask her about it. She said I'll just take it, and walks away with my credit card and gift card. I SAT AT THE TABLE WATCHING HER AT THE BAR FLIRTING WITH A DUDE FOR TEN MINS. SHE TRIED THE GIFT CARD TWICE AND CONTINUED TO SIT AND TALK AND FLIRT! At this point I made enough excuses for this all over horrible service from EVERYONE. I go up to the hostess and say "she's been standing at the bar for ten mins with my credit card flirting with this guy can I just get my card and leave" I watch the hostess walk up to her, the waitress then screams acrossed the whole restaurant "the card is not working" (super embarrassing, u could have gotten a manager or someone who knows how to do their job help u but u were to busy flirting. OR quietly come up to me to let me know there is a problem with YOUR GIFT CARD!) So I walk to the bar (yes I had to go to her) and by that time a manager came. She got to get the gift card to work THE FIRST TIME TRYING! U KNOW I STILL LEFT THIS GIRL A $5 TIP which her nor anyone in that building deserves! Poor management for letting it get this bad and not knowing whats happening in ur restaurant! The food was crap and there was not one happy face leaving that restaurant last night. I heard over the long period of time I was there any food brought out was missing something, or boxes were never brought out. O and I forgot to mention being charged for the game my kids played for two seconds when there was NOTHING saying u had to pay for them. Poor management, poor waitress skills poor runner skills. All over poor experience and would NEVER recommend.sorry so long but it was a long evening for me too.
