Stopped for lunch when we were taking a day trip up to Tampa. It was a quiet location. A couple people for lunch but not busy. The hostess was a little confused when sitting us at a table but she figured it out and we got sat where we asked to be sat. The food was good and tasted fresh. I got the quesadilla salad and the chicken was nicely seasoned. My husband got the chicken and shrimp meal and my daughter got the kids chicken Alfredo. It came out quickly, was well prepared and tasted great. Thank you for a nice experience. Would recommend visiting if you’re looking for something tasty that won’t break the bank.
Had the Cajun blackened salmon. They forgot to blacken it. Took home the cinnamon swirls that were apparently fried in the same oil as the onion rings. The restaurant entrance is grungy and is in bad need of cleaning. The service however was excellent.
Got the whole order completely wrong. Boneless wings are dry and look like they have been sitting under a heating tray for ever. Attitude from the server was horrible and I will not be coming back to this establishment. My suggestion is to travel to the chillis right across the street. This has been my restaurant and of choice for a long time but now will go to chillis. I don’t go out to get an attitude from a server and the service I received was amongst the worse I have ever had.
Brittany was the absolute sweetest! she recommended items for me and my friend and even hand-made a shot for me when i couldn’t decide on what to get. she has a heart of gold and deserves a lot????
Seated in a booth and my seat was soaking wet and when I asked for some paper towels to dry it off the hostess said "yeah there was a little kid there and he spilled everything" but she still sat us there. Service was a little slow but completely understandable because someone was being trained. Both servers were extremely friendly and polite. Food was bland and incorrect temp but at some point you just need to eat and go. For 1 steak/2 burgers/pretzel app was $102. For that price you gotta expect better.
We like to go for the Monday burger special. The staff is always friendly. She remembers our drinks. She will also remember our meals and suggest them. Food has always been cooked to specifications. We were recently there for Veterans Day. What a pleasure to see our veterans honored with a free meal and coupon for a future meal! Thank you Applebee's ????.
On September 2 around 4:15 my husband and I came in for some lunch immediately walking in the door we were not greeted by the hostess. She said with attitude 2. And we said yes 2 please we both looked at each other clueless like what was that about. She then seats us and then later brings out our drinks I told her thank you she gave me no response..and kind of tosses the straws which one fell on the floor as she was walking off. Me and my husband looked at each other again and was like OK. We were just glad that she wasn’t going to be our waitress. So when we received the neighborhood nachos that we ordered for an appetizer, there was literally three tablespoons of meat on the whole entire platter of nachos and not very much cheese either the meat was hard, crumbly, dry, and overcooked. Before eating it, we kindly explained to our waiter about the tiny portion size of meat on the nachos. She seemed as if she did didn’t know what to do so she grabbed her manager and he kind of seemed like he didn’t wanna be bothered and was looking to resolve the issue so he can go on about his business. So they brought us out extra taco meat, which was another small size and the meat was even more dry than previously so we didn’t indulge at all at this point I just said forget about it. I’m not gonna even mention it anymore. So when our orders came out, they gave me a tiny spoon of rice, less than half the portion that they gave my husband which we ordered the same dish by the way. I was not gonna even mention anything anymore because at this point I was kind of over everything then we decided we were just gonna take our food to go so my husband had not touched his meal yet so we asked for to go to containers and our waiter brought them out. My husband proceeded to put his food in the container and he noticed there was hair in his food so we had to address this with them and she brought it to the back and they brought us out a new receipt and gave him $10 off of something that he wasn’t going to even eat, we felt that was a lot of nerve. Neither one of us ate our food and we will not be going back here again. It was the lack of manners, the lack of care, the lack of professionalism and the lack of good food that we still ended up paying for regardless of the hair in his food and the bad nachos as well definitely will be going to other locations. Just not this one. This place literally left a bad taste in our mouths in it’s entirety. Really wish I could give zero stars.
I recently visited Applebee’s and unfortunately, my experience was not up to expectations. We waited over 30 minutes before anyone took our order. Once the food arrived, it was a disappointment. The chips were extremely hard, and the Alfredo pasta was cold. The chicken tenders in the pasta were small and dry, making the dish less enjoyable. While I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, the quality of the food and service on this visit was not what I had hoped for. I hope management can address these issues to improve future experiences.
