We were sat quickly, however, the server did not come for 10 minutes. The restaurant was not busy. We waited another 10 minutes for our drinks. We ordered our food with the drinks, it took another 30 minutes to get our food. The server did not come once to check on us. He then said he had to “cook” our food because it came out wrong. I asked for the check as soon as the food arrived, he gave us 2 complementary drinks for the long wait. The food was good, the service not so much.
I order 2 for 2. Caesar salad and bacon cheeseburger. My son ordered too. At some point when I was eating my last big green leaf of my salad, the truth was uncovered. I saw in the remaining of the little portion of salad left in the plate, this repulsive, gewy, looking brown blob form, piece of food with too hard sticks coming out of it ????. I separated the 2 sticks apart nastly investigating feeling. The second thought ???? nasty dirty kitchen counters and ?????. My son had stain outside of the plate ???? and the bottom outside has cheese. The manager Manny Rivas explained that he was in the back of the kitchen area cleaning dishes and helping with other tasks, because he is short staff, that he is unknown to the kitchen's cleanliness and food handling. Wow Manny, but you just told me you are in the kitchen doing tasks, because you are short staff. When I also show the raw looking bacon, he was quite, and did not comment about that. The manager is the same as the employees, and the employee does what is allowed to do when the manager is not doing his job. My son that order too has a health condition sickle cell anemia, with a weak immune system. Think about that next time you allow nastiness in the restaurant; Manny and Applebee's. I am not going back to this restaurant because they do not care about others people health. The excuse is I DIDNT SEE I WAS BUSY BACK THERE IN THE KITCHEN HELPING. Manager Manny change your excuses for humane productive actions.
my husband and I are regular customers we enjoy Applebees very much but today we had Devon as our server and we are very please with his service. He made our meal a really good experience. Thanks Devon
Our waiter was polite and attentive, food was good. My only complaint is that they should update this location to something more modern. Besides that, i liked the experience and loved the bacardi bucket haha.
First visit to an Applebees in forever and picked this place. I was actually surprised at the chicken sandwich I ordered. The breast piece was huge, hanging out of the bun. It wasn't mashed flat either, to make it appear larger. It was fried crispy, hot and fresh. Best chicken sandwich I've had at a restaurant. Fries weren't bad either. The only downside was the service was really slow. Waitress never checked on us during meal and had to ask for check three times.
Ordered Curbside. No one came out to the car. Had to go inside. Dirty, dingy floors. Dirty tables. Employees standing around doing nothing. The To-go Waitress was vaping inside the restaurant and talking to other employees and/or friends, who were obviously off the clock, sitting at a high top. Another employee was leaning against the wall and playing on his phone. Didn’t bother to look up or acknowledge me when I walked all the way inside to the bar. My food was supposed to be ready by 7:30 pm but wasn’t ready until 7:45 pm. I had to wait inside for my food because she obviously couldn’t be bothered to come outside at all.
Finally got home to eat and the salmon was absolutely disgusting. I spit it out and threw it away. It was fishy and there was unappetizing fish juice all over the bottom of the container. Worst thing I’ve ever eaten. I will never eat at this restaurant again. If their dining room looks like this I can’t imagine the kitchen.
I got take-out. The portion was small. The spicy chicken sandwich was not good. The quality of the chicken wasn't good. Almost artificial. It was covered in the sauce, but you can tell. I could have had a better chicken sandwich at Popeyes across the street. The salad had too many cut-up heart pieces(hard and bland). The good part was the host was very nice as was the waitress.
I went for the under $10.00 chicken and hamburger special. I don't know how long they can sustain such prices? It's a threat to other hamburgers and chicken fast food. I haven't been to Applebee's in years. The decor is as I remember. This particular Applebee's has a dj that appears Friday or Saturday evening. I mentioned this as the tracks being played were banging. The drink, a vodka concoction, was weak, basically a vodka/cranberry. I don't know as I'm a bourbon drinker preference is this the reason or the drink itself? The size of the container. I should have felt something. The French fries were terrible. The hamburger was tasty. The hamburger saved the entire meal. The best part: My meal plus wife came under $40.00. I can't recall an under $50.00 in a while. The staff is professional and friendly. I would give a shot. My next visit will not be years in the future.
