This place is filthy. The womens rest room smelled like an outhouse! The chicken tenders were too hard & overcooked. Ribs were dry. We had to send the coleslaw back, it was spoiled. The worst restaurant in Southern Maryland we've been to so far. We were one of the 1st customers in today and the floors had food and dirt all over them. The booths were dirty, uncleaned. Food on ceiling, one of the two faucets in the men's bathroom wasn't working. Just awful. Morgan, the waitress, was the only good thing here.
Disappointed !!! We arrived about 8:15 ….. go in greeted by a host and get seated ….. we wait for someone too come around and serve us and start some drinks well just before 8:40 came around and still nothing … after watching an older staff member (I’m prettty sure management )yell and curse out a younger employee and than her go to her her car crying and waiting more and still not being served we left….. waste of time completely and super disappointing! My 4yr left out crying cause she didn’t get to get her food there !

Got a pickup order...had to go in to order because phone automation was jacked up. Host needed to get a manager to help (he got confused or wasn't trained in to-go orders). The manager was great about taking our order and adjusting for my daughter's substitutions. Unfortunately, when we got to our hotel room (20 minutes away), I was missing my sides and my steak was overcooked! When I called the restaurant, I was told that I could come back for my missing sides & replacement steak - which means I would have to stop the kids from eating, load them back into the car, drive 20 minutes, get the food AGAIN, drive another 20 minutes, unload the kids, and let them finish eating their cold meals! When i explained how that was NOT an acceptable option, I was told that she could "put it in the book" for me to go back later to get the missing sides...still not an option because we are about to leave the country on military orders...or she could "put it in the book" for a refund, in which "the corporate office" would review it and process the refund "if they approve it" in a week or two.
DO NOT GO TO APPLEBEE'S!!! Total waste of time, energy and money!
The waitress was not checking in on us. I can understand if they were busy but it was us and one other table in here. I kid you not they are all getting their blood pressure checked while we have been waiting to pay for 20 minutes. Drinks were good. Would have enjoyed the drink while eating but..
Good food friendly service. No wait time at all. I recommend this any time. I couldn't finish my dish which was the shrimp bowl. Quite tasty. Will definitely get this again.
They told me when I confronted them about the lack of service that they were short on their staffing. I sat there for more than 30 minutes and I had to confront them to get service. When they finally did come I only got my beverage and a side salad. I never did get my main course.
I basically told them I w as not going to stay any longer. They tried to give me a discount and finally get me my meal. But it was too late for that. I informed them I was leaving immediately and I told them I obviously came at a bad time.
This restaurant used to be a really good place in the past. It had been awhile since I had been there so I thought it would be good to try them again. Sadly, I was wrong. Honestly, one of two things needs to happen here. They either need to close down permanently; or they need to have a major restructuring so they can return to where they were in the past. I would rather see them close down. They are not what they used to be.
The place has gone down hill. Takes forever to get food/to go orders. AC is broken, no management whatsoever to be found. Employees regularly cuss mainly by dropping F bombs. Employees allow rude customers/ friends to smoke right by the entrance doors. I had to have 4 employees ask and check on my order after waiting 15 minutes past pick up time. Didn't receive a I'm sorry for the wait or any kind apology. I don't know if I'll be returning anytime soon.
my dad ordered the french onion soup n got it doordashed && it showed up like this. idek what this is but its deff not what was on the menu n my whole fam even said it made them sick to look @ it && to smell it .
