Clinton Iowa Applebee's.. Not impressed. Drove 30 minutes to go here. Sat by window, open shade under half way worker came said manager ask if I could close shade, bothering customer. Other side of room was fully open shade. Wasn't put there.. I was there first should of put her in a dark corner or she should stay at home during the day. Not a good visit. No reason either I could of moved by other window or her somewhere. Not complicated
Family of five. 25+ minute wait for food, which was nearly cold on arrival, two dishes were made poorly without sauce, another 10 minute wait for silverware which we had to go and request because our waiter 'forgot'
The bill was nearly $80 for low quality, cold and miscooked food, wasn't even busy, several staff were sitting around talking by this time of the night (still two hours to closing)
On top of this, the portions have grown smaller yet, with lower quality and a rise in pricing. Will not be coming back.
It took the waitress 15 minutes to ask what we needed to drink. Never checked on us. Brought our food out. Had to wait an additional 5 minutes for silverware and napkins. Never came back to refill my drink. Absolute worst service for a bill that was over 70$ for only 2 people. Never going back again and trust me I've said this before but I mean it this time.
Open late and priced right had the Biggest Meal Deal Bacon C/B for 10.99. Beats McDonald's Hands down price and taste no contest keep up the good work Applebees!!

It's like most Applebee's, the Chicken Wanton Taco were good appetizer, drinks are inexpensive. Service is good or bad depending on server. We like coming after 9pm, we order off the 1/2 price appetizer menu.
Food was good, need more help. Mine was made wrong, they caught and remade and came nice and hot to table, which meant my husband's was like warm
I went 10/30/24 & had the rudest wait staff. The waitress was rude and barely asked us what we needed and when we went to the bar the bartender seemed angry we were attempting to order from the bar after our waitress wouldn’t come back for our drink order. I’ve said it before but for a “nice” restaurant your staff is incredibly rude. I miss the way it was years ago.
Had one in Sterling, closed, now in Clinton. Like the specialty drinks. Need smaller size if can't take home. Chicken won ton tacos
