I’ve been coming here for years and had always only ordered drinks and apps. Today, my sister convinced me to try the steak..and it exceeded my expectations! It was cooked to my liking (medium), seasoned lightly, and super tender. We were informed that the cook for the evening was Eli, so hats off to you sir!!! And our server, Nate, was also top tier. Knowledgeable, kind, and patient, keep up the good customer service Nate! I’ll be ordering steaks from here more often.
As a student at Oakland University, I often celebrate a variety of special occasions such as game days, graduation parties, birthday parties, and the end of a semester at this location. I often go with large groups ranging from 8-16 people, and we expect to wait a long time to be seated. However, the regular host consistently manages to seat my group within half an hour on a busy Friday night which is a testament to their impressive coordination and efficiency.
When I go for a casual drink with a few friends, the bartenders are always lively and stop by for a chat in-between serving other customers. Their friendliness contributes to the atmosphere and welcoming nature of this location.
I want to specifically shout out the server Maria. I’ve been lucky enough to be placed in her section every time I go to this location. She is friendly, matches the energy of the group, is very knowledgeable of the food and drink menus, is able to answer any question my group throws at her, and most impressively she remembers people she has seen before such as myself. She goes above and beyond to ensure a great time and effortlessly engages in the banter of whatever group I bring. Most recently for my graduation party I had asked her to guess which other person at the table was my brother and she played into the bit. Moments like these make the experience more memorable. This type of service really demonstrates her excellence in customer care and being able to adapt to various groups of customers while remaining professional and knowledgeable.
Overall, I highly recommend this Applebee’s location for its great atmosphere and exceptional service, especially if you have the pleasure of being served by Maria!
This was the absolute WORST Applebee's we've ever been too ????????????
Service was TERRIBLE. Slow, food came out all over the place - two of us had food while the others didn't... It was bad.
The place needs a deep cleaning.
And a staff adjustment.
While sitting I noticed more then two parties leave after not being helped.
It was a all around horrible experience.

Me and my friends went out tonight to enjoy a nice dinner after finishing the night off at Erebus everyone but our server was very nice and the food wasn’t too bad. However being greeted by our server(her name was Roxy) she seemed to have an attitude problem, my friends and I, we are all servers so yes we can understand forgetting something, we understand being busy we had patience. Our server wasn’t attentive, in fact she seemed to have an attitude even when we asked for silverware that we didn’t even get when we got sat. She seemed to have a problem even greeting herself. I just want to say as someone who works in customer service we’ve never had anyone act very clueless, not be attentive, and have an attitude. She took at least 10 minutes to greet us and even forgot our drinks. She cashed us out before we got refills it’s almost as if she was new! She had told us her other table had thrown up on her but we didn’t really know what to say to that. But even as a new person if you work in customer service you should know how to talk to people and how to act. Experience was ruined but we made the best out of it.
Sat at the bar and it smelled terrible. Extreme cleaning solution smell over a mildew smell. Bartop was sticky and dirty with a red drink residue left from a half clean up. Bartender was nice but i came in during happy hour and he purposely didn't offer beer refills timely. Guessing it's a company thing to limit discounted drinks. Beer was super cold though. Might return. Might not.
Travis was the nicest server i have ever had. A larger group of my friends and I all came in tonight and he was truly such an amazing server. He was so incredibly nice and efficient. it can definitely be hard when a large group of people come in, but he handled it so amazing and we all absolutely loved him!!!!
My server walked out on us today. Though I completely understand why. Our food was taking forever. Apparently the cook started throwing food at him when asked why everything was taking so long. The manager(s) did nothing to stop it. Shame on them and the rest of the staff. Our server was great, have had him many times before. Shame to see him treated this way and defend by nobody. Cook and management need to be replaced.
My sever, Roxy was wonderful! She was very attentive to our table's needs and refilled our beverages without us having to ask her. She was patient and kind with us while we placed our orders for everyone at our table. I will definitely eat here again.
