As regulars at Applebee's, we've had the pleasure of dining at various locations across the state during our travels. This particular visit, however, had a few ups and downs worth mentioning.
We started with the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark. The flavor felt off, and to add to the experience, the plate arrived with an unexpected smear of BBQ sauce, which was puzzling.
When it came to the main course, I found the pasta lacking in seasoning, which left it a bit bland for my taste. On the bright side, my husband really enjoyed his steak; he found it well-seasoned and flavorful.
One highlight of our visit was the bucket of drinks we ordered—they were absolutely delicious! Plus, the option to take the bucket home made for a fun souvenir that we appreciated.
Overall, while there are areas for improvement, particularly with the seasoning of the pasta and the quality of the spinach and artichoke dip, we still enjoyed our time at Applebee's and look forward to our next visit.
After a particularly rough shift that left me feeling drained and defeated, I decided to stop by Applebee’s for a break, hoping to unwind. Jeff was my server, and from the moment he approached the table, his warm and friendly demeanor immediately made me feel more comfortable. He was attentive, upbeat, and had this incredible way of making everything seem lighter and more positive. It wasn’t just the service—it was the genuine care and kindness he showed that really made a difference. I came in feeling overwhelmed and stressed, but by the time I left, I felt completely refreshed and much happier. Jeff’s excellent service not only improved my meal but turned my entire day around. I forgot all about my tough shift and left with a smile on my face. It’s not often that someone can have such an impact, but Jeff did just that. Thank you so much, Jeff, for brightening my day when I needed it the most!
I ordered a car side order to go of a Caesar salad with chicken. Got to my hotel and found no utensils (hard to eat a salad without a fork) and NO dressing. Literally just dry lettuce with a few croutons and a couple pieces of chicken. Hard to be a Caesar salad without the actual Caesar part.
My family went into Applebees and had a great experience. The server was awesome and the food was delicious. Brandi brought our drinks right away and the food was out quick. Brandi made sure to check on us to see if we needed anything! We will be back in the next week and hopefully Brandi will be there to serve us!
Great food and great service as you expect from Applebees
I recently visited Applebee’s after not having been there in quite some time, and I have to say that my experience was beyond exceptional. This was largely due to our waiter, Jeff. From the moment we sat down, Jeff’s energy and warmth immediately stood out to us. He greeted us with a genuine smile and made us feel right at home. His friendliness wasn’t just surface-level; he truly made an effort to connect with us and ensure we had a great time throughout our entire meal.
What really impressed us was how quickly Jeff managed to handle everything. He was easily the fastest server we’ve ever had. Our drinks and appetizers arrived in record time, and he didn’t miss a beat when it came to keeping everything flowing smoothly. At no point did we ever have to ask for anything because Jeff was consistently ahead of our needs. It was as if he could anticipate when we needed refills or when it was time for the next course.
Aside from being efficient, Jeff was incredibly communicative. He checked in regularly, making sure we were aware of any updates about our food and that everything was going well. He took the time to explain the specials and gave us recommendations that turned out to be spot on. Communication is key in any dining experience, and Jeff truly excelled in this area. He made sure we felt informed without ever being intrusive.
Another highlight of the evening was Jeff’s sense of humor. It’s not often that a waiter can effortlessly balance professionalism with humor, but Jeff nailed it. He had us laughing throughout our meal with light-hearted jokes and a positive attitude that was infectious. His ability to keep things light and fun made the entire dining experience feel much more relaxed and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a server who can make you feel like you’re dining with an old friend, but Jeff did just that.
We hadn’t visited Applebee’s in a while, but after our experience with Jeff, we’re already planning our next trip back. Honestly, we’ll be returning primarily because of him. The food was good, but the service Jeff provided is what truly left a lasting impression on us. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making their customers’ experience memorable, and Jeff exceeded all our expectations. His combination of speed, humor, and attentiveness was the perfect mix, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about the people he serves.
We can confidently say that we’ll be returning to Applebee’s specifically to be served by Jeff. He’s the type of waiter who turns a regular meal into an outstanding experience, and we can’t wait to see him again. If you’re planning to visit Applebee’s, I highly recommend asking for Jeff. You won’t be disappointed! We loved him and can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable dining experience. Applebee’s is lucky to have him, and we’re lucky we got to experience his excellent service.
Nikki is such a fun and happy person, so warm and welcoming. Her service is impeccable, always attentive, offering suggestions and makes wonderful cocktails, she and Edith are amazing and we are always pleased to see them.
Our server, Josh, was fantastic!! He was so kind, thoughtful and knowledgeable- it was like he knew what we wanted before we even asked!! This will definitely be our new datenight spot thanks to him! Thank you so much Josh!
Food was good- I definitely recommend the chicken wonton tacos!
