I had an amazing dining experience thanks to Tyler! His service was outstanding from start to finish. He were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. It's rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like they did. Applebees in Hickory is lucky to have such a fantastic team member. Highly recommend asking for Tyler if you visit!
Our original plan fell through but thankfully we ended up here for my son’s birthday dinner last night with a party of about 20 family members. None of us had been here in quite some time but now we’re all ready to go back! The Shrimp & Parmesan Sirloin with the loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli was so delicious! Actually, all of the food was delicious, no complaints! The service and atmosphere were also great! The playlist was perfect. Thanks so much for accommodating us and providing a great experience! We’ll definitely be back!
Everything was amazing. I had the Blackened Salmon with Mashed Potatoes and Broccoli it was delicious.
Gave me grilled chicken that was very burnt instead of the breaded honey pepper chicken that is suppose to go with it. Recommended if you want to get food that you didn’t order.
Danielle took great care of us late Wednesday night. Excellent half priced appetizers all around! Tacos are awesome, chicken is tasty, and the orhers were very good too.
Music was bold and loud, otherwise a great experience.
Thank you from your Arizona friends!

This location is one of the best I've tried so far to be honest. My fiance and I shared the combo appetizer and my nephew got a burger and yogurt. This is the first time I've seen the kid eat a whole burger. They didn't quite listen to what he wanted on it, and almost all of our customizations got left out not sure if that was on the server or the kitchen. But everything was made wonderfully
My daughter and I had lunch here today and the food and service was awesome. I usually don't order a steak, but we did the 2 for 32.00 deal and I got a sirloin and she got the bourbon chicken and shrimp. The steak was delicious! Everything came out piping hot and tea glasses quickly refilled. Thanks, Applebee's!
Danielle was absolutely amazing. My husband and I ate at the bar and she was such a burst of sunshine after a long day at work. I have managed restaurants for 20+ years and would give anything to have a staff full of Danielle’s. She was so attentive and just wonderful person. The way she handles her bar guests and making drinks for the rest of the restaurant with such grace, yet she has a sense of urgency is amazing. You don’t find these qualities in employees anymore, so Applebees you are very lucky.
