It was surprisingly weird service from Sean, if I remember his name correctly. He was a very tall big guy. We realized the happy hour was gonna start in 4 minutes and asked the server if he wanted to take our orders and put it later. He said he will not accept our order and said he'll back when it starts, and that was absolutely fine with us. That's obviously totally understandable but what left us shocked was that he went to another table right in front of us and took their happy hour order and explained everything. If you have a policy, then it should be same for everyone not tell us one thing and do another for other table. When the food came, we asked for sharing plates and he answered I don't have extra arms. It felt a little rude considering we didn't know if he was going to grab it later, and they usually bring the plates after they take food orders. We didn't mind that as well. Unfortunately as soon as he brought our food out (after 20 minutes we sat down to order) he straight out told us that we can pay the bill on the machine and went to the other table, asking if they wanted anything else. We wanted more drinks and appetizers too. The funny thing is that we were sitting right next to the stairs so every single time he checked on the other table he walked right past us. We were just waiting and wondering if he will ever ask us if we needed anything else. We had to ask someone else if it's ok to take our order or use the machine. After our second appetizer run, he came to us and grabbed the machine and started setting up the payment. At that point we were both very shocked and lost all of our appetites and just wanted to leave although they close at midnight, after 2 more hours, we felt rushed and once again we started waiting for anyone to pass by just to ask for a carry out box. We just put the cash down on the table and wanted to leave, but surprisingly he suddenly appeared right behind us to tell us we still needed to pay. At least check the table first. It was very disappointing.
My brother and I stopped in this the last Saturday of November and got one of the best burgers either one of us had had in a long time. Bravo to All the employees at Applebee's in Eden Prairie. Great hamburger. WOW
Update: They reached out and to get a gift card for $20 as an apology it took over 2 weeks !! Very horrible customer service and communication. I was going to come back to give this place a try with the gift card but I will now be going elsewhere! If you’re looking for a great place to eat with great customer service, check out brick and bourbon or Asia mall in EP.
The worst Apple bees you will ever go to! You aren’t greeted, your food will be made wrong and if you ask for something they will say yes and then not bring it! Pictures below my wings with patchy sauce coverage, I asked for a cup of the sauce was told yes and never brought it ! I ran out of ranch, asked for some was told yes and again it was never brought! My friend ordered a drink from the bar and it took over 20 mins to get it and it was wrong ! Go anywhere else!!! I recommend brick and bourbon in Eden Prairie. They will NEVER mess up your order.
Shawn was our waiter, he had the best sense of humor. We were out for a birthday party. He did a fantastic job serving us ???????? My food was lukewarm but I didn’t want to bring it up. Otherwise the food was very good.
Love this place....Mike, the bar tender and Karol the GM are awesome....we missed our sweetie Tanya tonight but we'll see her soon...The food has been so consistent and wonderful....Check out the Eden Prairie Applebee's you won't be disappointed
Come in every single week the staff is respectful and prompt. Food is always good and if there is any issues there is always a manager on hand to handle anything.
I have eaten at a few Applebee's... This visit was the worst I have experienced. We had a large party so I called ahead and asked about a time. I was told the time I was interested in was traditionally busy and asked to come an hour later. That seemed fine to me and I appreciated the suggestion. The lack of a host when I arrived was my first clue there would be an issue. We were set within a few minutes by the woman I later learned was a manager. That would be my only interaction with her. Drink orders were taken right away but drinks arrived 40 minutes after we set down. Our waitress Lynn, was the ONLY bright spot. There were children in our party so she brought their meals first. Their food arrived about an hour 30 after we set down. My son's Mac and cheese was dry as a bone. My food arrived about an hour and 40 minutes after we set down. Lynn ended up comping a bunch of our parties order. No manager. One guy never actually got his food. We tipped her well as it appeared she never stopped moving. This place has a real management issue. I would avoid.
Yesterday I went there for dinner, I had to ask someone to check me in after 3min standing waiting.Staff lady came and checked me in and gave me the menu book and just left without saying anything.I waited for like 10min tried to wave to the same lady but she kept ignoring me and turning his head towards the kitchen area. I decided to ask different staff who was taking my order.There wasn’t much customers that time that could make me understand why they never took my order.My order was taken.The food I was served it was cold ;stake,shrimp and mashed potatoes. I ordered tacos then they charged me extra money for the sauce that came with chips. I will never recommend this Applebees in Eden Prairie at all!????????????
