Took my family here for lunch today. Chanell, our waitress, did an amazing job. It was definitely a nice experience. Our total for 5 people was $72, including an appetizer. Restaurant is a bit dated and could use a refresh. I would recommend this for lunch with the family any day. 6.99 kids meals!
We went and had a nice dinner to celebrate my son's birthday. He really enjoyed it. He's been asking to go to Applebee's since that stupid song came out about a date night or whatever. . .anyways. . . Our server, De'Asia was wonderful. I am picky about service, due to being a server myself and she was great. Highly recommend her as a server. She never let our cups get empty and just did an all around great job.
we were a large group of 11 people. I only give it 4 stars because we had to wait about 1 hour for them to locate us but the service and attention was excellent. Our waitress was always very attentive. I don't know her name but thank you very much. The food is not expensive. We had a good time.
Came for the appetizers, stayed for DeAsia! She was amazing! Never let our cups go empty and made sure everything came out correct and was definitely on top of the kitchen to get those out to us because it was FAST! Will definitely be requesting her the next time we visit!
Each visit to this location is worse than the previous. Service is slow and take out even slower. So hard to even find someone available to simply take an order! If hiring more reliable staff is needed, management you may want to consider that. These days everyone feels worthy of a "tip" for anything that's performed even if its simply bringing out a to go order, well the same way you feel entitled to a tip then as customers we feel entitled to great service!
I arrived with my daughters and there were no diners, we were the only ones, no one wanted to wait on us, the waiters were sitting in different positions around the restaurant, (until someone shouted "I'll be with you soon") while they looked at each other to see who would stop to serve me. Impressive. Food test horrible,
My husband and I chose Applebees after seeing a commercial for a new Chicken sandwich and we hadn't been in a long time (since we moved to the area 3 years ago). There were only 3 other tables filled with customers when we were in the restaurant. A 4th table had what appeared to be several employees sitting at it.
Service was VERY slow. They told us they could not serve alcohol after my husband ordered a beer (no reason why, just "we aren't serving alcohol tonight" and that's it. We waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. No appetizer plates came with it. My food came out about 20 minutes later. At that time, the server told us "sorry, they don't know how to make that new chicken sandwich, it only came out yesterday" (the new one that my husband ordered-the reason we went there in the first place). Mine was mediocre, and I was finished eating before he even got his (about 30 minutes after I got mine). The chicken sandwich was wrong when it finally did come. There was a heap of onions on it (not anywhere in the description), it lacked the sauce that was in the description, and was on a regular bun not a brioche bun. Applebees should train their kitchen staff before releasing new sandwiches, this just seems unacceptable. It's pretty pitiful the staff couldn't do better considering the description cards on the table of this new sandwich said exactly what was on it and what bun to use, with a photo of the sandwich. We didn't bother to tell them since we didn't want to wait again for them to try again since it took them over an hour to make the sandwich wrong to begin with.
The server offered a free dessert (one) for our wait. 2 items were sundae's, but then said they didn't have ice cream that was supposed to come with them. We declined, because mostly we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for a mediocre dessert missing half the ingredients to come for us to, I guess, share? Our drinks were empty. No refills were offered. My husband had to go get the waitress and ask for our bill, she was sitting at another table in the restaurant not paying a bit of attention.
Very disappointing and we won't be back. I don't see this location lasting if that's the type of service offered, especially on a VERY slow evening. I would be more understanding if the restaurant was packed.
Food was good and the service was friendly. Recommend checking this location out if your in the area and enjoy some good food
