Best WLM Reviews
Good food. But our server, Garrett, made the whole experience! He was polite, engaging, and very attentive. We came in late, and he was energetic and easy-going. Applebee's is not fine dining, so the customer service experience is a much larger factor. Great job, Garrett!
We had a good meal, not bad, but also not extraordinary. I would give 3,5 star if that was possible.
The salad and burger were oké. All the personal was very friendly.
The sevice was good.
The restaurant is very busy with lots of tv's and music.
Had lunch with family here again today. We always ask for Quinton to be our server. He's fun, he's smart & he always takes excellent care of us. The lunch menu is very reasonable & very tasty.
As we were seated, we waited almost 10 mins for someone/a server to come to our table, but that was quickly fixed by the manager which he was awesome! My server decided to come by right afterwards and he to was awesome! Now let's get into my food I ordered, I ordered the chicken wontons which were amazing as always but my main problem was my main dish, I ordered The chicken Alfredo Penne, and right off my first bite I knew it was gonna be a bad situation, MY noodles were a bit overcooked, the sauce was mac and cheese sauce not Alfredo, also it was topped with fresh salsa not tomatoes but salsa you dip chips in with cilantro in it.. At first I was very upset but I decided not to eat anymore and just pack it up for someone else to enjoy. My son ordered a Bacon Cheese burger, which I don't have a picture of but I will say it was not fresh, the tomatoes were soggy and you couldn't chew the bacon because that to was old. So my son said after the 3rd bite he was not eating anymore of that.. Welp no we didn't complain to the restaurant because why? It will not help anything. But I will say the staff was very amazing.. but it definitely showed why I haven't ate here in over two years.. food definitely taste generic now..
I went late (9pm - late for me lol) to get something for dinner. There is a register & waiter/ waitress/ waitperson (idk what the proper vernacular is to describe the person(s) who take order(s), so please do not take offense- as none is intended on my end :-).), near the back of the restaurant that is for takeout/ pickup. The waitress was really nice & went out of her way to be helpful. I was so pleasantly surprised. She went above & beyond, & did so in a genuine manner. I wish I could remember her name so that I could give her the recognition she deserves. It was Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 @ around 9pm. I’d like to say thank you for being so kind & helpful. I can’t remember the last time I felt appreciated as a customer at a restaurant. Thank You!???????? ????
We were there at 8pm and there were only a few tables with people. We waited a bit before the server came to seat us. Once she arrived she began walking to the intended table without saying anything. I am on crutches and she didn't slow her speed at all. Fortunately the place isn't that large so we were able to find where she laid the menus for us. She had laid them there and walked on; again never saying anything. After we sat there for a few minutes the same girl came to tell us she was our server. The pretzels with beer cheese were very good! The amount of cheese was less than other places. We each ordered from the "all you can eat" menu. I started with the fried shrimp and my 2nd course was the boneless Buffalo wings. They arrived cold. My husband started with the riblets and his 2nd course was the BBQ boneless wings. Our friend got the shrimp and then the riblets. As a 2nd course, only 1 riblet was served. As a 1st course you get 3. Shrimp was good, riblets were good, boneless wings were cold and hard. The fries were also cold and you get them only with the 1st serving. In the past I have always received excellent service here but this time was a definite miss. For $14.99 it was not a bad deal, esp if you can eat multiple servings. It is also nice that you can mix up your orders between the 3 options.
I cannot honestly rate the food. I was seated immediately, but after almost 15 minutes, I left. No one ever came to my table. A server and the hostess both swept the same area, but overlooked me. No server actually talked to the other patrons. Won't be returning!
My wife had the salad with the chopped chicken, it was what she's used to getting, no surprise here. I tried the new chicken sandwich with the spicy sauce, be sure to get the sauce on the side. The sandwich was flooded with the sauce and was messy, I didn't enjoy my selection. We'll continue going to Applebee's, of course, but I will likely stick to the familiar options.
