During a recent business trip to Boise, I had the opportunity to dine alone at the Applebee's Grill and Bar. Although it had been some time since my last visit to an Applebee's establishment, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service and quality of food provided by this particular location.
The restaurant was meticulously clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The staff demonstrated remarkable efficiency and friendliness, ensuring that my dining experience was both enjoyable and seamless.
I opted for the blackened salmon, a signature dish at Applebee's, and it lived up to its reputation. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a delectable blend of flavors that tantalized my taste buds.
Based on this positive experience, I highly recommend this Applebee's location to anyone seeking a reliable and enjoyable dining option in Boise.
My dad and I had a wonderful casual dinner at the Elder St Applebee's. Our several Hannah was terrific. She knows the menu and options and gave excellent service, making sure we were enjoying our meals and had everything we needed. Very good burger and salmon.
This location is easy to get to, has ample parking, and quick seating, too.

Server Mindy was amazing and managing the whole dining area alone. She was super friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond. Hope to see her again if we come back.
For quick quality American faire, Applebee's can really nail it. In light of price, food, and speed of service, I'd say this is a good stop for quick-ish bite when passing along.
FOOD: We opted for the 2 for $26 (and opted for the $6 increase for a larger steak and bourbon chicken). The deal comes with boneless wings, which were lemon pepper. They had an excellent crisp on a more thinly breaded exterior. The sauce was properly applied so as not to run from the crust or clump. The bread was a very mild flavor, which allowed the sauce and chicken to blend better by primarily adding texture only. Bourbon chicken was flavorful, with a properly set crisp and sear. The clarified butter drizzle worked well to add heat and moisture, though the butter was pushing it on greasy texture of the mushrooms and onions, as they were a cooked texture, but not browned or having char. The potatoes managed to counterbalance some of the butter. I would order this again*

ATMOSPHERE: Fairly quiet establishment. If I didn't know better, this location felt more like a quiet diner than the Applebee's I grew up with. I appreciate the ability to hold conversation without yelling over second string pop artists singing out their low-rent faire. The only slight drawback to this was, if you're sat next to an over-enthusiastic, braces-clad highschooler, you may hear all about the drama, but it's easy enough to tune out when you can hear your company.
*for flavor, I would eat this meal again. Having a history of hypertension (high blood pressure), the 2570 mg sodium in this meal gave me a headache
Mindy Tony and Lindsey were absolutely amazing. They stopped to interact with my 4year old multiple times. We got back to the car and he said they were all his friends at the end of the experience. Highly recommend. Thank you for a great lunch
Surprisingly good Oriental Salad! We also got the Spinach Artichoke Dip, but the chips were all crushed to very small pieces.
