Had dinner here for 4th of July and service was awesomely fast. Food was also very good, for almost everything we ordered. We had steak, chicken and the platter.
Love this restaurant. I have food allergies, and Applebee's has been very accommodating to my needs. Their website has an allergen function where you can find the ingredients listed for each dish. Use your best judgment, of course, but this has been so helpful for me. Melissa answered all of our questions and took great care of our party.
We were in town for an archery tournament with a very large party. We had called ahead to let the restaurant know we had a large party and asked for seating, we did not even say we all had to be seated together. Just that a large group was coming in. Good to go and gave us a time to come in. Once we arrived and the restaurant was not that busy they told us it would be another hour, We had a busload of hungry kids and asked if it was anything at all they could do to honor their time they had told us and they just said sorry. We took our business to Buffalo wild wings who promptly seated us even though they were very busy and took wonderful care of us. Sorry Applebee's you lost our business forever.
There was mold on the bun for my prime rib dipper.... customer service was acceptable but how do you not see the green fuzz on a white roll smh. They offered a new meal and compd the moldy one and gave me half off my new order. That's fine and all, but if they don't even pay attention to buns they use, it makes me wonder how much other food is not properly kept. This is how people get sick!
Been here a few times and the area where the booths are located are just too damn cold! You can't enjoy your meal for your teeth chattering from the cold! Thermostat needs to be adjusted badly. Us older folks can't hardly handle that much cold and Im sure it's keeping some people away. Feels like it's 62* to 65* degrees. 70 or 72 is my suggestion to at least enjoy and stay for some drinks. Was visiting family in the area with my partner and we were looking for somewhere to eat at night (around 10:45pm). This place was open until midnight, so we thought we could stop in for an appetizer and drink. We walked in and stood at the "Please Wait To Be Seated" hostess stand. There were a couple of customers in the restaurant, but the employees were just talking in a group at the bar. Some of them looked over at us but didn't say a word and just kept talking in their group.
After about 5 minutes, we just looked at each other and supposed they didn't want to serve anyone at that time? So we just shrugged and turned around, they never said a word. Not too sure.
I will never return. The last time we attempted to order to go we sat in carside to go for an hour. We called repeatedly. We were in our pajamas and really didn't want to go in but when we went inside we couldn't find anybody. Rap music was blaring and we shouted hello? Nobody answered. We were never refunded our money for our order and we never received our order. I reached out to corporate who assured me the owner of the franchise would be reaching out to me soon. I waited two weeks or so and then called corporate again and she said it was strange that nobody had reached out to us and then said she would request communication from the owner once more. It's been several months and I'm still waiting on that communication. Never again will I step foot in this parking lot.
Haven’t been in a while because of a previous visit but decided to try it out again. They had half-price appetizers from nine to close. We ordered the pretzel, boneless wings and the spinach artichoke dip with chips. Food was good. Great location near interstate 57 in Marion Illinois
